So its a dance?  [Thread One]

So you're at the Hogwarts Ball and the dance has started! It's time to get on the floor with your partner, or  mingle by the drinking area. It's all pretty normal, for a dance anyway. Course, what at Hogwarts ever stays normal?

Objective: In this thread, two applicable characters will need to dance or converse by the drinking area. When the Mini Event strikes, make sure you don't trip on your feet! A secondary objective will soon follow!

Reward: 200 galleons upon thread completion!

So it's a dance? [Thread One]

This was not your typical school dance. This was the NEWTs ball, and Darrin had to look his best. While the seventh year boy didn't truly care about what he looked like most of the time, today was something different. Today he achieved the RIGHT to look good. Not that he wasn't good looking even when he didn't try, but tonight he would step it up a notch.

After digging through his clothes and finding just the right set, he got ready and quickly headed out of the common room and out to the Great Hall where he would meet Elliot. Neither had dates for the night so they decided just to go together and see if they could just mess around and have some guy fun. Maybe tease some of the girls. What was Darrin's excuse for no date? He couldn't decide who to bring. He had many gal friends. So far non of them interested him as romantic at the current moment and it didn't seem if any of them cared for him in that way either. 

He knew he was probably late for the beginning of the ball, but he could still make it in time. He reached the door in front of the Great Hall and looked around. Elliot was no where in sight. Darrin snorted to himself. Did he manage to get here before Elliot did? Or was he already inside? Did Elliot find someone else to go in with? Nah, he would have waited for Darrin and told him. Darrin shook his head. Where were they suppose to meet again. Oh yeah! The food table. What a weird place to meet. Who's idea was that? Yours probably Darrin. Nice choice. I wonder if you were hungry when we decided. 

So Darrin slipped in the doors and made his way to the table with refreshments over weighing it. His eyes darted around the table. Elliot was not there. He was sure of it. With his great eyesight, Darrin would be able to see him within the crowd. 

Tonight, Darrin was dressed in a light grey short sleeved dress shirt, with a dark grey pinstripe vest over the top of it. He wore matching dress pants, and really nice black shoes to fit the outfit. Around his neck he wore a thin silver scarf instead of a tie. His blond locks were covered by a velvet black fedora. He was ready for some mischief at the ball, only wondering where his partner in crime was.
