When it comes to personality, Drake’s is quite a mix and match. He, like everyone, has his good and bad sides, it just really depends on what side you get on. When it comes to the plus side of his personality, he is a very loyal guy, who is very sweet and caring. Yes, he has his stubborn side, but that only comes out when he is well and truly passionate about something. Drake can be childish sometimes; along with this he is a very loud and lively guy. However, he does have his quiet moments, this is normally a sign that he is upset though. He is a very loyal person; once he has a friend he will do anything to protect them and will stand by their side no matter what. Along with Drake can be quite the social butterfly, he likes to just walk right in and make friends with anyone who happens to bump in to him, along with the fact that he is a big flirt. This comes with his more relaxed and laid backside of his personality, he just likes to go along with whatever is thrown at him. Plus, he is quite reserved and doesn’t like to share about his past life to anyone.

When it comes to the more negative side of his personality, Drake really has to be pushed to lose his temper. However, when he does lose his temper, Drake really does explode and it has its bad consequences. Rude and arrogant, along with this he is very cocky when he thinks he can win something. Drake can be very opinionated and is quick to judge, along with being a bit of a hypocrite sometimes. He can be two-faced and does judge people easily, which can sometimes be his down point. When it comes to falling in love, he is scared of anything to with romance; the idea alone makes him want to run for his life. Drake is not the romantic type, he has a fear of having his heart broken and so stays clear of the emotion altogether. If he feels he is getting too close to someone, he will walk away and so in this way he has self-destructive personality. This meaning if something good comes out of something else, he will make that person back away and leave him alone no matter what it takes. Jealousy is also an issue with Drake, he is very jealous natured and will be happy to show it. Sometimes he can be clumsy too, along with being very stubborn which gets him in to trouble a lot. Drake also likes to stick up for himself; he will never give up a fight until he has that famous last word.

Drake’s sense of fashion normally goes by what mood he is in at the time. If he is in a bad mood, he normally goes for a casual look. This being some sort of jeans, in either a dark colour or blue. Then to top off his looks a plain shirt or a shirt with some sort of logo on it. Drake is known to walk around in a set of blood red robes from time to time, however due to he grew up around Muggles he is more used to casual wear. Drake is known to also go for a more punk look sometimes, with plaid pants and plain white shirts. Smart wear wise, he likes to go for suits in, as usual, darker colours. However, he will occasionally go all out in a mix of bright colours or something unusual at times. Footwear wise, Drake likes to go for boots and sneakers, he feels it’s only necessary to wear shoes when it is a formal occasion.


When it comes to hairstyles, he is always changing his hairstyle and colour. Drake is a natural dark brown normally, however he has been known to go blonde, jet black, different colours and even bright red in some cases. His hair is normally short in length and dark, but has had a Mohawk once or twice. Drake has also let his dark hair grow out, but decided to cut it when it began to irritate him. Fashion is definitely something Drake is heavily in to. Yes, he does care about his style and what people think of him a lot of the time. Currently his hair is a dark brown and short in length in a buzz cut style. When it comes to jewellery however, Drake is a big fan of it. He is always seen wearing earrings and some kind of other jewellery such as a small ring, bracelet, necklace or something he feels matched his outfit that day. Drake has a habit of making everything match, or in the end it just annoys him instead. That and along with his trademark thick rimmed glasses he is always wearing, otherwise he would be what he likes to call blind.

Finally, the main part of Drake that sticks out is his love of anything to do with tattoos. Tattoos literally cover Drake from head to toe, his trademark red, blue and yellow tipped flames can be seen coming from each of his wrists. Running along his back are two large dragons, along with a small cartoon version of himself. Then on his finger is a green birthstone ring and an old ring tattoo. Drake has a mix and match of various tattoos covering his body, some coloured and some not. There is a Koi fish on his right bicep, which is in full colour, along with three more on his other bicep. Both the back of his left and right legs has tattoos too, along with a large single one running over his chest. The dragons on his back are also on his top shoulders, along with a coloured pirate skull on his left elbow and a coloured spider web on his right elbow.

Drake was born and raised in an area of London, known as Camdem Town. He was Muggle born; his mother Rose worked as a Banker, meanwhile his father Charlie worked as a local Milkman. He grew up in a rougher area of London, but Drake never let that get to him too much. He had your average childhood, he went to school and didn’t think life could get anymore interesting. Drake was quite lively when he was younger, his parents always brushing off his bouncy behaviour for something he would later grow out of. Drake was bullied during his years of Primary school, it led him to be quiet and not being his usual self for a while. His parents and especially his mother began to worry about him, Drake being stubborn as he was though just got on with it.

When the bullying continued to his last year of infant school, that was when Drake finally snapped. One day he turned and suddenly attacked the one person who had been getting under his skin for all those years. Drake had found himself changing, he was no longer that guy who let everyone push him around, and instead he changed in to a braver person. Drake began to enjoy this new side of himself, the bullying died down and he slowly began to defend himself more and more. When Drake was just 9, his parents decided it was better for them to divorce, Drake being so young didn’t understand the situation. They broke up due to they both agreed the marriage wasn’t working, Drake’s father was a more quieter character and his mother was more of the louder type. He naturally took the news badly, years after and even now he still doesn’t understand why his parents broke up. They flat out refuse to tell him. This was also around the time, when Ryan became fascinated with anything to with Muggles. They weren’t known as Muggles to him at the time, however the people around him did fascinate him.

Finally, the day came upon him when he found out about his future life. Drake remembers the day all to well, it was a usual day at school and as usual his bully was after him. Drake had gone running to where he knew was safe, but the bully was faster and grabbed a hold of him. Drake’s bully was known as Robert, he was a tall, quite heavily built kid from his year at school. Rob had taken a hold of the scared Drake by the scruff of his shirt, and then slammed him against the side of a brick wall. Drake himself decided to take it as usual, however this time something inside of him changed that day. Drake felt anger building up inside of him, which was when the magic, so to speak, happened. A very confused Drake cried out as he fell backwards, then landed on the floor behind him. He glanced up to see the brick wall that had been there before had disappeared before him. Drake sat there with his jaw open, staring at it in surprise and Robert being scared out of his skin, ran away screaming in fright.

The following day after the event was when Drake received his Hogwarts letter. He was eleven at the time, first of all he took it as a joke but then it turned in to something very real. That was the day that everything changed for Drake, where his real identity was revealed and he started his first year at Hogwarts. When it came to his first day of Hogwarts, the whole thing naturally frightened him and it all felt very surreal to Drake. Later, that evening he was sorted in to Hufflepuff and from there his life at Hogwarts began to unfold. The new Hufflepuff soon learnt what he was good at and what he was bad at, along with what subjects he felt passionate about. Drake soon learnt that Care of Magical Creatures was definitely a subject that caught his interest, due to his love for animals. Herbology was close behind and when he finally learnt about Muggle Studies he was thrilled. The years passed and Drake felt that Hogwarts was becoming more and more like home every day. The main thing that bothered Drake during his time at Hogwarts was the bullying; he was bullied purely due to blood status. During his sixth year he began to have feelings for his best friend, which in turn later turned in to something more.

The two dated for a while, however soon separated due to many rumours that had spread around the school. Drake decided from then on, that he would keep his newfound sexuality to himself. The young Hufflepuff had a few friends during his Hogwarts years, however he was quieter in his school days. Drake decided to join the school Quidditch team in his fourth year, which in turn earned him a place on the school team. Quidditch from then on become Drake’s main passion, along with Muggle Studies and Care of Magical Creatures. When he left school finally, Drake was proud of his results and had decided on his career choice. Having decided to go in to working with Muggles, Drake set out to find what job would suit him best, which after seeking some advice he found the best job for his interests. His original idea had been to go in to working with Dragons, however he had decided on the change of plan at the last minute. His first year of leaving school was spent working in the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade, Drake had always enjoyed people’s company and so decided that a sociable job was more of his thing. Later on, he decided to try and apply for a position at the Ministry of Magic. The first time around, Drake was disappointed to find out that he had been rejected from the job offer. However, he didn’t give up that easily and reapplied time and time again, until finally he was giving a chance. Now he currently works in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department, where Drake managed to get the job due to his knowledge of Muggles.

Drake hadn’t been in the pub long; he was here a lot, however it didn’t mean he was always drinking. He mainly came here to socialise, get to know a few people or simply relax of an evening. He had just got back from dealing with more Muggles; it was all part of his job after all. Drake didn’t have much of an issue with Muggles though; his parents were after all Muggles themselves. Currently he was sat at the bar, a Butterbeer resting in front of him, whilst he was in deep conversation with someone. “They are going to lose next season I tell you. They need to change their Keeper or something bad is going to happen.” Drake replied as he spoke to a young looking wizard beside him, the two had got in to a deep conversation about Quidditch. A favourite subject of Drake’s, he had always loved Quidditch and had developed a deep passion for the sport. “Yeah, you have to admit though, no one can get a Snitch pass that Seeker of theirs though and he’s good.” The Hufflepuff nodded in agreement before taking a small sip of his drink, the warm liquid was welcoming today. “We will see, any idea of last nights results? I haven’t had time to get the newspapers today.” Drake asked with a light smile to the young wizard, who in return nodded and slid a paper over towards Drake.

“Cheers.” Drake replied as he took another sip of his drink, placed the mug down and pulled the paper forward. He skipped to the back before reading over the results and cringing a little, it was not good news at all. “I just lost 2 Galleons, oh well.” He chuckled before shrugging lightly and reading over the article the results were shown on. “Nasty, so a player got injured again huh? I remember being knocked out by a Bludger when I was young, horrible experience.” The Hufflepuff shuddered as he spoke before turning the page again and glancing over another article briefly. “Oh well, better luck next time. Can I grab another Butterbeer please?” Drake asked the bartender as he glanced up from the paper, the bartender nodded and reached for Drake’s glass. Meanwhile, Drake rummaged around inside of his trouser pocket for some change and placed it on the bar. “Keep the change mate.” Drake added with a wide grin as he watched a new Butterbeer appear before him a few minutes later. The pub was slightly busy but nothing out of the ordinary. Turning back to his new friend, Drake watched as a dark haired man came towards the bar and instantly his stomach dropped. A light frown came over Drakes features as he glanced over the stranger briefly, however he soon turned away and went back to the conversation he had been having with his new friend.

However, upon hearing the words that came from the stranger’s mouth, Drake reacted again and turned in his seat. “I’m good for now thank you.” Drake said feeling a little uncomfortable as the man held out a hand, he looked mildly familiar. Once again, a frown returned Drake’s features as he heard the man speak. “Hi there, yes, I’m Drake Griffin. Oh nice to meet you.” He replied as he slowly and with a sense of hesitation held a hand out to the other man. “I think I have seen you around, not sure though.” Drake added still feeling a little hesitant that someone such as this was now speaking to him. “Drake I need to head out, I’ll owl you later okay?” Drake turned back to his new friend, nodded and shook his head before watching as he walked away. “Anyway, can I help you?” Drake asked Josef simply, hoping that he didn’t sound rude when he spoke.
