PLOT WITH MAGNUS?

BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Magnus is a ministry worker, however it is not the defining aspect of his life. In fact, Magnus has a serious problem with blood-purists, and finds that there are several of them that he has to call colleagues. He spends a lot of his time volunteering in both the Muggle and Wizarding community: tutoring, animal shelters, homeless shelters, caretaking, etc. He is a pretty easy-going guy, if not painfully shy, so long as nobody considers him a pest, or calls him one to his face. He is Ravenclaw alumni, and is actually proud to be a Muggleborn. He has been known to make some unusual friends, such as Lucas Mulciber, over the course of his life.

FRIENDSHIPS
As previously stated, Magnus is an easy-going fellow, who is loyal to the small circle of friends he has. He is painfully shy, until one gets to know him, and frequently people lose interest in being his friend before he is able to open up to them. He is in need of friends, and is trying to be more outgoing.

ENEMIES
Blood-Purists who believe that they are better than everyone else. Particularly, those who voice their opinions to others, by means of putting down others of his blood. He believes that being muggleborn comes with quite a lot of potential, and that they are greatly underestimated. Those who abuse the environment are not likely to become friends with Magnus. Nor are the religious impolite, intolerant, or racist.

LOVERS
None, as he has not felt attracted to anyone romantically. Not once in his lifetime. However, he still wishes to find someone to fill this hole, eventually.

LUNA AND MAGNUS
I sense a kindred spirit! People tend not to put up with Luna either and she's never one to be deterred by such quietness. In fact she'll just blether on for a bit and come to the conclusion he isn't being rude or wants her to go away but just doesn't have all the much to say! They should totally be friends. They believe in pretty much the same things, I think, though Luna may be slightly more cautious - it's difficult to tell at the moment. Luna also looks like she couldn't defend herself, or wouldn't defend herself from an attack which always leads to the interesting surprise when she whips out her wand and kicks your butt into another dimension xD She can save Magnus from something if you liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike.

MAGNUS & LUNA

I also sense a kindred spirit! My Thiney-Senses are tingling! Magnus is shy - Until he getes to know people - And I agree that Luna would probably be quick enough to gather that he isn't really out to be rude. I figure that they could always put their brains together to accomplish their goals, should need arise, and that perhaps they'd be a pretty good match when it comes to problem solving. Magnus is a little less cautious and is the type to lower his guard without thinking about it, especially when he is helping others. xD Magnus might just need saved - Even if it's from the nargles - In turn, Magnus can be there for Luna should she need homework help, or even just somebody to talk to!

Well, she's kind of scary at first meeting. Ani kind of forgot how to smile lmao. But anyways, she'd probably like him since he's so easy going, AND he is proud to be muggle born. She's a muggle born Slytherin so she's gotten plenty of grief on that topic throughout her life. Anita, however, isn't an advocate for werewolf rights. She doesn't like them much at all.

LUNA AND MAGNUS
Luna doesn't talk about things. She doesn't have problems. well she does but she tends not to realise she has them. she doesn't think or feel the way normal people do and if she ever did, that part of her died when she was 9. Luna is extremely gifted in the sense of intuition which she probably inherited from her rather gifted mother rather than her father.

I have decided Luna should totally save Magnus's ass from some strange dark hooded, tall, malignant monster after his ring.

Luna should save him from a nasty person. They should be talking first. Meeting is always a good thing because relationships are built upon meeting hahahahahaha. I'm not sure how. Perhaps her father is checking out the legal implications of an article and she tags along and BAM there's magnus and they stalk and then she's like...I feel like ice cream. come for ice cream (as you do). and then out in the big bad world where there are THIEVES and MURDERERS they are stalled by WEE MENTAL DAVEY and Luna saves Magnus with her wand whipping, ass kicking ninja moves.

That might be a bit too much Dara O'Briain whom I'm watching atm.

Rufus & Magnus
Yay for more Ministry workers! So Rufus here is obviously fellow Ministry however he will have as little to do ever with the pest department as he possibly can (and if he’s ever bugged about it yes that person would promptly be seen as a pest). As Magnus is a fellow perfectionist perhaps the two have had run ins after working hours where they’ve both stayed late to see things done? Rufus will be having a few moments of brooding following the recent werewolf battle so perhaps the two could cross paths? It would definitely be nice to see him have a frank (if middle of the night, absolutely exhausted following battle) conversation with someone where he’s not trying to squirrel information out of them or accuse them of something. Further down the line should Magnus’ more questionable friendships come to light there may also be some interesting lines of questioning.

I am sorry for my unannounced absence, my board got deleted and I had a huuuuuuge mess I had to clean up. I think I'm mostly free now so I'm going to risk getting Magnus settled in, and I apologize to you all for any inconvenience.

MAGNUS & LUNA

Perhaps Luna just hasn't found the right person to talk to yet -winks- nah, that's totally cool, I'm sure we can make Magnus ramble to fill any awkward silences that might arise. While he's shy, he is conscious of it, and trying to acquire more social skills. He is dedicated to helping others, and I suppose one could say he is naive in some ways.

Have you confused dear old Magnus with Master Frito Frodo? xD

Luna seems pretty set on saving Magnus, but I am certain this could be arranged, living in the wizarding world and all. Magic and wands are a dangerous thing, nobody should be permitted to carry one xD. If we set it up right, he could be off work early that day or something, or maybe even on a lunch break? I imagine the Ministry of Magic isn't completely barbaric, and allows its employees to grab some grub at times, and thus we have time for ice-cream! O.O Well then. I pity the WEE MENTAL DAVEY'S that Luna seems determined to destroy, lolol.

First, to you I feel I owe the largest apology, so I really am sorry for pulling another unintended disappearing act. As I've stated, I've been preoccupied trying to get my board repaired and rebuilt, as well as trying to find a way to backup a proboards database for Mete so y'all can move to a better host since V.5 seems to be somewhat of a stress factor.

As for Magnus and Rufus: I imagine someone with the importance of Rufus wants absolutely nothing to do with the pest department, not that Magnus is overly fond of pests himself! However, since they work in the same place it is likely that they know one another. I like your idea of them both meeting while they're staying late, because it does add a little bit of flavour to both characters. I honestly look forward to establishing the questionable friendships for purposes such as these, in-character drama can be fun, out-of-character, not so much xD <3
