Was it Thursday or Friday, she wondered to herself. But knowing Angelina, it was actually Tuesday and she had somehow missed all of the other days in between because of not paying attention. That seemed to be a pattern for the young Quidditch player, work yourself to the point of forgetting anything else that was happening around you and then wonder why the world had been so quick to leave you behind. Apparently she hadn't yet learned any kind of lesson from this rigorous training schedule she had helped to compile for herself, but that was yet another issue for another time. She hadn't seen or heard from any of her old school mates since she had dared to venture into Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes almost three weeks back and run into George Weasley. Fred had been nowhere to be found at that time, which Ang wasn't entirely sure how she felt about yet, but it had been rather nice to catch up with at least one of the twins for a short while before real life pulled them back down to earth. Sometime she missed that, having the opportunity to sit back and have a conversation that didn't entirely revolve around which Quidditch play they were going to make against their opponent in the upcoming match. Of course, that was a large part of the life she had chosen. It always would be if she had anything to say about it...but did that mean that all of her other relationships needed to be sacrificed in the process? With yet another spare moment of time on her side, Angelina decided that it was perhaps time to take another look at the past she had been so quick to leave behind after graduating. Securing a pair of ankle boots to her feet, the brunette Apparated to a rather familiar spot, one that she had seen many times over the course of her final five years at Hogwarts. Oh, how she remembered loving those trips to Hogsmeade. The students were always looking forward to the days when they were permitted off of the school grounds and into the tiny village nearby, swarming the local sweets shop for new delights and old favourites, replenishing their school supplies. And of course, what trip was complete without a venture into The Three Broomsticks for a warm Butterbeer, especially during their winter romps. She could remember ending up in there once or twice after getting involved in a snowball fight with friends, which had always ended with tremendous amounts of giggling and rather flushed faces before they all hurried into the cozy little tavern. But that wasn't her chosen destination for the day. As her dark brown orbs scanned the various shops and filled her brain with fond memories, her feet seemed far more interested in carrying her to the corner of Hogsmeade that held The Hog's Head Inn. Angelina could remember being inside that place only once before, for something that had been top secret at the time, a danger to anyone who might have been caught in that meeting. That was where Hermione Granger had first called students together who wanted to learn Defence Against the Dark Arts in a practical form, not just in the books that the Ministry of Magic had assigned for them to read. That was the year of Umbridge, the old toad, had taken to mocking Harry for saying that You-Know-Who had returned and that the student who had been killed during the encounter with him had been the victim of a freak accident...nothing more. That was the year that she helped bring the Quidditch Cup to Gryffindor house after losing Harry, Fred and George from the team for wanting a piece of Draco Malfoy. And that was the year that she had graduated from Hogwarts all together... Wow, time certainly did fly, didn't it?
