Journal entry one

So, today a child came into my ward with boils completely covering his body. To be honest, it took all of my will power to not winced at it. It was really pretty hard to look at, pretty gross. I could only imagine what sort of pain the poor kid was going through. There's a misconception about boils. In my experience, people think they just don't pretty, and that's it.

That's wrong, wrong, WRONG. I remember when I was about fifteen years old and I had ticked Zelda off a little too much. Thinking back, I probably deserved it, but she sprinkled some of her defensive powder on me and boils started growing all over. Damn, it hurt!

I didn't mess with her so much after that.

Anyway, I fixed the kid up and gave him a bit of my Honeydukes chocolate as a reward. He was pretty fussy, but I really couldn't blame him. He was only four years old, after all, and that on top of having those nasty boils and having to do to the hospital? I know some adults that would be crying in that situation.

Wanna know how the kid got the boils?

Well, I'll tell you.

Turns out the kid's older brother had gotten a hold of one of the parent's wands and started waving it all over the place. What the hell was the kid doing with the parent's wand? Why can't these parents understand that you have to be careful with stuff like that?

Journal Entry Two

So, here's a bit of a new development. I just received a note from Vincent saying that Zelda had asked him to bite her during a full moon. we have been working on this cure for several years now and we've barely made any progress whatsoever. It's obviously that Zelda is a bit more invested in it than I am, but she needs to calm down. She's willing to do absolutely anything to find that cure and get Dad back to normal. If Dad knew what she was willing to do, he would-well, I don't know what he'd do, but it wouldn't be good.

Now, I'm not much of a worrier, but this is really getting under my skin. She's so focused on the cure that she's not thinking about the consequences. What if she does this and it takes 20 more years to actually complete the cure? She would have to live as a werewolf for the next 20 years.

I just hope that if Vincent doesn't comply (which I doubt that he will) that she doesn't go to someone more dangerous.

I really worry about that girl sometimes.
