Every sixty seconds you spend upset
Darrin Bailey burst out laughing as he closed the book in front of him. Currently, he was sitting in the Middle Courtyard under a small tree within the shade. The book he was reading was called The Fourth Riddle. It was a long novel about a boy who got caught in the middle of a family feud. No one knew why the two families hated each other and the boy, who was from the outside of the fight, came into the house unaware of the chaos. He found a riddle under his bed about the family's history and that started his journey to getting to the bottom of the chaos. Darrin was about halfway through the book and he was laughing at how serious and mysterious the part was. He just wasn't very good at being "serious" during books. Especially when he was under a lot of stress.
And he was under a lot of stress recently. He had been studying all month. Almost non-stop. He needed to get amazing grades on his NEWT test if he wanted to become the Curse Breaker that he wanted to be. Right now he was releasing some stress with the book he was reading. Why wasn't he out with friends you ask? He was just letting off some steam. He could feel his shoulders were really tense and he was becoming a little on edge with some of his friends when he did have some free time. If he didn't get some relax time to himself he was going to blow up on someone and he knew it.
But now he was done with the chapter he was reading and a couple hours had passed by. He needed to do something else. Something active. After a bit of alone time, he had gained his energy back and was ready to go run around the lake a couple times.
