Shae Travers is the replacement for Sinistra as Astronomy Professor following the latest attack on Hogsemede. She is quiet, and can often be found wandering the castle with her head in the clouds. Shy at first, Shae tends to be the most warm and loyal friend you could have once she opens up. She absolutely loves teaching and will always have an open door for her students. Being a half-blood (and unable to put up with prejudice) Shae supports the Order and looks towards Hogwarts and Dumbledore for protection.

●FRIENDS●

I don't imagine Shae has a lot of close friends. She'd be completely herself around the ones she does have though. Most of her friendships would have started in Hogwarts or while she went through the training necessary to receive her wizarding teaching license. She could be friends with practically anyone and is never one to judge a book by it's cover. She gives everyone a chance. It's only those who worship blood supremecy or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named that would fail. (Though I suppose if she was unaware she's have no problems with someone till she found out.)

●FOES●

Shae wouldn't have a lot of foes. She tends to keep her head down and avoid trouble, unless someone she is loyal to is being threatened. I imagine most of the people who would have an issue with her would be superficially based on the fact that her blood is not 'pure'. It is no secret that her mother is a muggleborn. Then perhaps there are people who just find her odd and unsettling.

●LOVERS●

Twenty-nine and single seems like such a horrible thing to Shae. She's at the age where she sees families and longs for children of her own and someone to settle down with. Lately though she's been on somewhat of a dry spell. Will all of her schooling and then moving into her quarters at Hogwarts she has either been too busy or too secluded to even consider anyone. Maybe that can change.

Heya, remember what I said about Virgil got saved by Sinistra in the latest event and that your character can switch her place?

I think we can do a thread in the morning after the werewolf attack night, they could come across each other and have a little talk about the incident. Or you want to play the scene she saved him? :3 Be aware that Virgil is not so polite to teachers. His family taught him well XD

Well based on the time line that I've thrown her in Shae becomes the Astronomy professor immediately following the second attack. That way it makes sense why Sinistra suddenly leaves when the year is almost over. Maybe Virgil can come looking for Sinistra and he meets Shae right after she arrives?

To clear things up, the second attack was in Hogsmeade. Virgil was saved in the attack on Hogwarts when some students were poisoned, turning them into werewolves(The current event), and they attacked other students. Sinistra can leave Hogwarts after the attack on Hogsmeade, but I think your idea makes more sense. :3 Maybe the thread will take place in Astronomy teacher's office?
