Sweeping the floor of the owlry before entering, Roxanna found her peaceful place. Taunt Marie had always warned that if your mind was clogged, you couldn't think straight and if you couldn't think straight you most likely would not be good to anyone. So, among the owls was normally where people could find Roxanna especially after a vision. This was one of the days that she had a vision earlier of course. It was friday afternoon, lunch was in session but she wasn't so concerned about it.
As she shut the door to the place she fumbled until she found the corner and several sleeping owls by the sounds of it and curled up like a kitten. She had recieved a vision on her way down to the breakfast table and it had nearly made her fall off the moving staircase and not for the first time. Her Taunt Marie on her last day, she could remember her clearly still even after all these years, her brown eyes that she inherited, her freckles and of course, the fierce fight she had put up to protect Roxanna from her family. She sighed as she took several deep breaths, nothing ticked her off more then her parents and herself for what she had let happen. She felt responsible and guilt every single day for her role in the murder although she had been told time and again it hadn't been her fault.
"But it is my fault...I was there, I saw them murder her and I couldn't do anything" she said aloud as she sighed. As she thought about the vision, that day, her parents and her taunt, she started to cry.
An owl hooted nibbling on her affectionately. It hurt, a little but nothing compared to emotional pain that she felt everyday so she said nothing but just smiled. "Hey there" she said wiping her eyes. The last thing she needed was for someone to come and notice she was in tnears, be it student or teacher. She liked to go by the motto "I'm fine and I swear it" and only a fool would believe her. However, generally teachers left her alone and so did students unless of course she was about to do something stupid to herself or someone else. Roxanne herself knew that her anger was terrible and she had every reason to be mad at herself and her parents both. She groaned as she now got a headache and she started to bang her head against the wall of the place. But she stopped as she heard something, she didn't have super hearing like a vampire or a wolf or whatever but she could tell when someoen was near enough to this place even with the owls screeching and hooting and in some cases, banging into things. Cautiously, she took her wand out and started to rise using her cane on her left hand so that she could fight if it was some slytherin that was looking for a fight.
