History of Magic
Materials;
- 1 black composite notebook, this is your personal journal documenting your thoughts and actions about and with history throughout the school year. Each entry must be at least 150 words. There must be at least sixteen, one for every lesson completed.
- 1 gray composite notebook, for third years and up. Every trip to Hogsmeade must be documented, on addition to your personal journal, this is your field journal. First and second years may write about previous trips they have been on with their parents/family. At the end of the schoolyear these will be turned in, there should be at least five. Minimum of 150 words a piece.
- 2 white composite books, your lifeline to pass the term exam. These books are where you will be recording all of your notes on each lesson. One shall be used for each semester: fall and spring.
- Bathilda Bagshot's A History of Magic
- Needed writing utensils; quill, ink, blotter, well, etc.
- 1 parcel of parchment containing twenty-five 8x12 sheets. These are used for various teacher-to-student papers, such as grade reports, quizzes, and testing.

In regards to the black journal, there should be sixteen total, one for every lesson. When you do your work for the day, please post this before the classwork, but after your role play post if there is one. Minimum of 150 words. This should be posted in black. which is hex code #000000.
In regards to the gray journal post, there should be five, one tacked onto the first lesson, and one tacked onto every quiz you take. The first gray journal entry should be posted after journal entry, and before the class work, minimum of 150 words. This post should be in gray. The gray hex code is #696969.
The classwork should be posted in white, which is the automatic posting color, so you don't have to worry about color tags.
Role play posts will occur first in your reply to the lesson, and they should be in blue. The blue hex code is #004682.
Points and grading system;
