As most of you are aware, I lost my father back in January. With this loss, a lot was brought to my attention about his last few years. I had always known him to have an unyielding love for tabletop gaming. His ability to paint and create things out of the most simple of materials was always a surprising talent of his.
The shop, where my dad used to game at, and spend most of his days off... is in a contest to receive a grant. It's called "Mission: Small Business". They need 250 votes by this Sat (US), the 30th of June, in order to qualify for the grant and hopefully be one of the businesses that the panel chooses.
This is the link: Mission: Small Business℠
All you have to do is scroll down to the "search" and enter in "Treefort Games"... only one comes up and it is located in Georgia, US. Please then click "vote" and it will cast you in as supporting them. You may need to link MSB with your facebook and that's how they track that you're actually a person and not a bot... so please, it wont spam you or anything, this isn't a joke.
My father spent his life either fighting for this country or training people to protect it. His true passion and joy (other than the military) was tabletop gaming. He did such amazing work, below is an image of the last piece he finished, just days before being put in the hospital and passing away less than a week after being admitted. His newest project, still sitting on his desk, partially painted.
Please help me help the people who made his last years so wonderful... thank you.
