ADMIRABLE SENTIMENTS -LUCIUS

A distinguished man with and air of arrogance about him, Lucius Malfoy is a prideful man and extremely dedicated to whatever and whoever he views as worth of his protection, admiration, love, and strong among other things. A charming man, Lucius usually doesn't encounter trouble when it comes to getting what he wants and desires. However, that's not to say that his charisma works every time. more often that not, Lucius has his priorities in order and excute his plans in an efficient manner. To an outsider, Lucius comes off as being a pureblood aristobrat and depending on who you are, cold and intimidating. Lucius is a fan of control; being the one to do the dominating, as it were. Holding an obvious dislike for blood traitors and muggle born witches and wizards, it would be very rare for Lucius to make friends with one. It would have to be a very special mudblood and even then, Lucius might have to under go some radical changes where his personality and beliefs are concerned.

There might be a muggle out there but that would certainly be a dangerous road for one to do down with someone as twisted and malicious as Lucius Malfoy. Once one of his master's most trusted and loyal servants, Lucius now finds himself falling from that grace...and fast. While he will do it takes to survive, that doesn't necessarily mean he will stick with the Dark Lord should Voldemort fall from power or his son's safety was threatened. At this point in the game, Lucius is considering what's best for not only his life, but his son's and the obvious fact that he'd rather live to see many more days. So, plot with Lucius! he makes for all kinds of interesting threads and you never know what might happen!

FRIENDS;
Usually sticking with those who are pure of blood, Lucius would rather converse with those of wealth and power as far as his social circle is concerned. However, that is not to say that under the right circumstances Lucius wouldn't befriend someone who isn't as wealthy as himself. Lucius is a fan of other intellectual people...so long as he feels he will still be able to retain having the upper hand in all situations. Lucius likes mind games and so, if you want to be friend him, be prepare for some mental prodding and a few snarky comments here and there. Usually, once friends with a Malfoy, you can be sure that you won't be hassled as much...unless it is the Malfoy's who find themselves in trouble. At that point, you may want to reconsider who you are friends with. If the Malfoy's go down, you might go along with them. A fan of fine wines and luxury, Lucius like to corrupt others to some degree but maybe someone will come along that will provide a much needed positive influence for him. It's a much needed thing in his life, whether he is aware of it or not. He would probably fight such a thing but perhaps in the end it would do him good.

LOVERS;
As far as lovers are concerned, Lucius is no stranger to women. Having many affairs in his life, Lucius likes the company of a women in many forms. However, most often that not, he seeks out company that he doesn't have to get mixed up in for more than one night. Seeing that he is a married man, there would be much conflict if someone were to spot him with another woman on his arm in public other than Narcissa. After all, Lucius does have a reputation to uphold. And of course, this is not to say that he doesn't seek Narcissa's company. However, Lucius isn't as attached to her as she might possibly be to him. He doesn't like upsetting her though seeing as she is the mother of his much loved son, Draco. Lucius is open to having lovers and potentially finding love with a woman but it would have to be someone who can match him in more than one way as well as put up with all aspects of his life. I can see many interesting plots happening here as far as continuing Lucius's fall from grace within societies eyes, his families, his lords, etc as well as maybe promoting some sort of redemption for him as well.

ENEMIES;
It's a little more obvious who Lucius's enemies are and that he has a lot more of them than friends in some regard. It might not have started out that way for but as the years passed, Lucius has racked up a few dings on his record along with loosing loyalty with others within the wizarding world. It's not hard for someone to become Lucius's enemy seeing as he is rather picky about others in general and would find it offensive if someone of a less pure blood status tried to get his goat. His temper would most definitely be unleashed upon whoever he felt slighted by. So please, lets continue to not make nice here and there and give Lucius Malfoy a run for his money...among other things. He desperately needs to be put into place on some level and perhaps there are a few people out there capable of knocking Lucius down a peg or two before he does it to himself.

Eirian & Lucius

Okaay, this might not be easy, but I'd still like to give it a try. They could surely try for a random run in thread or something ^^ Eirian doesn't like his son Draco, mainly because he's so uptight about blood purity which she finds extremly illogical and ridiculous. If she ever witnessed anyone talking down on muggles, muggleborns or halfbloods, her almost obsessive sense of justice would kick in and she might not care who it is she gives a lecture about how historically and logically incorrect these views are...

Honestly, I like this idea! It would be amusing for Lucius and perhaps make him rather hot under the collar since he so obviously wishes muggles and blood traitors alike, gone. He would probably get offended by Eirian's courage to stand up to him as well. For that he may briefly admire her but then revert back to being frustrated that someone younger than him was having a go at his skewed beliefs (and not mention from someone who dislikes his son). Such strong personality clashes are fun to thread. The thing we'd have to figure out is where this thread would take place.

Yaay glad you don't think me crazy Mwahahah, yay for getting Lucius worked up Eirian will probably feel very accomplished - but she will be glad if she doesn't get any repercussions for it. Once her sense of justice takes it down a notch she might go like: uh-oh... ^^
Hmm... what I thought was maybe somewhere in Diagon Alley? Maybe at the end of it when it almost turns into Knockturn Alley? And Lucius was observing something, maybe some slightly confused muggle family with their first year child trying to make sense of this new world they have been thrown into?

That would probably be the ideal location :] I imagine Lucius coming out of a particular store that has a reputation for objects with ill intent being sold or bought there and perhaps upon making his way back into Diagon Alley, he bumps into a small child that is obviously a part of a muggle family and he proceeds to do his Lucius thing which catches Eirian's attention upon seeing the interaction? Eirian possibly intervenes when she thinks that perhaps Lucius might mean to maim the poor child and them reems him out for his behavior?

The Mulciber family, as I manage them, are exceedingly arrogant and generally refuse to marry within the pureblood families of the U.K., generally preferring pureblood family lines all around Europe and Asia, in an effort to keep clear of the inbreeding that has become so common in the U.K. As such, while they are very well connected, they are not exactly liked by the other pureblood families xD That said, Lucas knew how to pull his family's name as a kid and was pretty much the one who approached Lucius about the whole Marauder problem plaguing Severus during his first year and despite being a first year himself, due to the ways he was brought up, Lucas had no fear of Lucius and pretty much used his name, Slytherin loyalty and who knows what else to get his help, and pretty much spent the next three years regretting it; Lucius being the perfect example of pureblood society, he was pretty much worshipped by Severus in the younger years, which was a royal piss off to Lucas xD However Lucas came to respect Lucius over time as someone wickedly creative, smart, and capable of holding their own in a duel. Lucius' nastier side also happens to appeal to Lucas' more dominant (and therefore nasty) self, so he's never really judged Lucius on it. Unlike Severus and Eric who respect Lucius like some big brother figure, Lucas considers Lucius to be the closest thing to an 'equal' he's got, and as a result he treats him the same way as he does Severus or Eric. With contemptuous fun and 'loving' hilarity. Which includes calling him princess. Frequently. Regardless of how much it may or may not piss him off. (Its his fault for having the hair of a veela, seriously!) I would love to get these two threading at some point, especially what with the 'fall from grace' the Malfoy family is undergoing right now. The Malfoy Manor is pretty much being treated like a Death Eater Inn, and the sheer lack of respect for the family since Lucius' arrest/escape is a royal piss off to Lucas; as far as he's concerned, only he (And maybe Bella. And Cissa.) is allowed to be an arse to Lucius. So he's taking the blow to the Malfoys a bit personally (Which probably isn't good for the health of their comrades...) and I think it would be fun to see how Lucius responds to Lucas getting pissy on his behalf xD Let me know what you think ;3

Rodolphus & Lucius
Ohh Lucy ! I always imagined at school Lucius and Rodolphus had this rich kid, pureblood boys club going on. Rodolphus would gladly left Lucy to run this and play as he saw fit (I imagine poor Lucius has had to suffer being called Lucy since they were about five). As two very rich kids with aspirations for power and cruelty I imagine they were very close during childhood and Hogwarts, perhaps even to best friend status? And could often be found womanising and plotting together. But all this would have changed with Azkaban, Lucy crawling back to the ministry and claiming he was under the imperius curse is to Roddy the worst kind of tretchery and cowardice. Since then whatever respect he held for the Malfoy's has dramatically gone down hill. Being forced to live in their manor (something he deems intolerable) Roddy's become a rather terrible house guest, sleeping where-ever appears to be nearest, helping himself to the vintage wines and whiskeys, being a corruptive influence on Draco and generally being abit of a nuisance.
What do you think? I think there's definately scope for a showdown / reserved bitchfit and maybe some nice time turnery threads in the future =)

So Colden here is Lucius' distant nephew or something or other but they are related and out of all his distant relatives the Malfoys are the ones he feels closest to [and not just because they are more closely related then Colden is to the other pure blood relatives] but also because he has a deep respect and admiration for the man. Both of them are Death Eaters and at the moment Colden is acting as a spy in Hogwarts but is also looking over Draco to make sure he succeeds but to also help him out, he feels protective of his cousin and knows the price he'll pay if he fails which Colden doesn't want to see. Am thinking that perhaps because of this he and Lucius would be quite close to an almost father like figure?

Lucius & Lucas;
We should definitely thread. I'm curious to see how such an intriguing dynamic would play out between these two pureblood wizards. While Lucius has always seen himself above others, I think that perhaps he too would find Lucas as more of an 'equal' compare to most everyone else in the wizarding world...even if Lucius doesn't out right admit to it. The way in which they would interact would be more of an indication to Lucas (of others watching said interaction) that Lucius does have respect for him. I think it would take Lucius by surprise to see Lucas coming to the Malfoy's defensive, even if it is because of unfavorable circumstance in which others are making a fool of such a dominant pureblood family like his own, etc.

Rodolphus & Lucius;
Oh yes, I could imagine that Lucius would have greatly disliked being called Lucy but would have only put up with it because Rodolphus was close with Lucius. I find the idea of Rodolphus reeking havoc within the manor greatly amusing and would be fun to thread out, particularly the inevitable bitchfit that would most certainly come. Lucius would of course defend his actions tooth and nail but i feel as though they two might come to some understanding after the claws come out. Rodolphus still may not have the same respect for Lucius but perhaps they would be able to at least play nice here and there?

Lucius & Colden;
I could definitely see that happening. Because it's obvious that Colden respects him, Lucius would want him around (since he such admiration fuels his ego) and because his linage can be traced back to the same magical blood that Lucius and his son shares. I could image that Lucius would be a little reserved around Colden but perhaps once Lucius knows what team Colden really does play for, Lucius would make it clear that he wants Draco protected (and his family name) and might be prepared to an attempt to break away from the Dark Lord should such a favorable opportunity arise. Not because he doesn't believe in the cause but because he wants to live and wants his son and family name to live on. Lucius tries to put his family first as much as possible.

*Is currently dashing about and catching up on all that was missed today, so rather than logging in and out of accounts, this is Severus posting in lieu of Lucas xDDD*

I have always ejoyed Lucas/Lucius threads, simply because the two of them have such unique senses of arrogance about them. The two of them tend to work off one another fairly well, and Lucas' more mischievious and lighter nature does tend to come out around Lucius due to the fact he does like the older man and does consider him to be a friend, or as close a friend as Lucas is capable of making; but at the same time, I can see the two of them rubbing each other the wrong way from time to time. I doubt they'd ever apologize, so much as carry on as though the earlier incident had not transpired; very primly ignoring the elephant in the room style XDD

That said, ultimately, I see these two acting as equals more often than not, and the respect Lucas has for Lucius as a man as opposed to a pureblood or a Malfoy is what causes Lucas to take offense to how he and his family are currently being treated. Any arse can be born with pureblood - and there is a lot of bad blood in the pureblood lines. For Lucas, blood isn't what makes you worth your salt; its your skill with a wand, your intellect, your diplomacy and your cunning that make you worth something, and Lucius has all of those in spades ;3

I'd be more than willing to have a thread either at the Malfoy Manor - before or after a Death Eater meeting, or even just a casual walk in on Lucas' end - or even at the Mulciber Estates once I get them up (In about 10-15 minutes xD) depending on what you feel like doing =3
