Every day of my life. I'd say it is something you get used to, but it is more something you learn to survive with - it never truly becomes customary, nor should it. It is often very difficult to choose between what is right, what is easy and what keeps you alive. Yet there are times when the choice is not as difficult as it may at first appear; sometimes all that is truly needed, is the right guidance.

How do you deal with it on a daily basis? Haven't you gotten tired of it? Guidance, that's something I wouldn't have thought of. Trusting isn't as easy as it once was. It's gotten more complicated.

I've had many years to come to terms with the places my path has led me. There are days when it becomes exceptionally tiring, days when I have truly considered finding an alternative way of living.

The things that spur me onward are many and varied, most of which are tied to the mistakes of the past. I have designed my own fate in many ways - as hard as it can become, I must remember it was my own actions that led me to this point. Furthermore, there are promises I have made and sworn not to break which must also be taken into account. As hard as it gets, I must remember that I've earned this place in life - it keeps me steady, even when I'd prefer to waver.

Things are always complicated when it comes to trust, but then there are always those whom can be trusted with some of the problem. Never put your entire faith into one person - this is folly, no matter your situation. There are always people who can be trusted with this part of the problem, and others whom can be trusted with another part. Between them, it can ease some of the pressure and provide a touch of support, for at least part of the situation for a time.

It's nice to have someone that seems to understand, seems to know the pain and the exhaustion that live gives us.

I like that, I really do. It makes me think that there might be a purpose for me afterall. Sometimes I just think that nothings going right and that everything is falling apart. Maybe all of the mistakes I've made have a reason afterall. It's just hard that's all, I keep thinking that life isn't going to get any eaiser.

I'm glad that you're the one that got my note, instead of someone else. You seem to know what you're talking about, instead of those that pretend to know what to talk about. I guess maybe I should just trust the one that was set in front of me. I won't put all my trust in him, but he'll be able to help with all of this pressure.

To Whom It May Concern,

You may find yourself surprised by how many people there are who can truly relate to the difficulty brought on by the current state of affairs with the Ministry and You-Know-Who; there are so many people pushed into corners, forced to play their parts, and whether they enjoy the part they must play is insubstantial. What counts is that their lives depend on their success or failure – sometimes not even just their lives, but the lives of those around them as well.

Trust is a commodity that is both rare and costly, but everyone needs someone they can rely on to some degree, no matter the role they have been forced into. Every person with a part to play has a purpose, and whether or not that purpose guides them to a better place is not for us to judge; that is something only they can determine, and they must do so for their own sake.

As much as I dislike taking hope that has been offered away, I would caution you away from thinking life will get easier. If your current situation has anything to do with the politics of our current Ministry and the Dark Lord, I do not predict it getting any simpler for some time. All the more reason to speak to those you can trust with small aspects; this war will not end in a day, a month, a year. It is here for the long haul and we’re all going to have to be ready to cope with it to some degree or we don’t stand a chance.

If you have someone who was set to aid or guide you, it would be wise to lean on them from time to time; even if you don’t trust them with everything or even anything, just having someone there for you in some aspect can ease a lot of pain. Sometimes it can ease pain you didn’t even realize you were suffering from, as well.
