Dear Journal,
Was almost late to fencing practice today. It's a muggle sport I picked up after graduating from school. Not sure why I'm explaining that to my diary but for posterity's sake I suppose I should. Figured I wasn't playing Quidditch anymore so I needed some way of keeping myself fit and competing with others. Took to it like a starving man to food.
Anyway, I was almost late because Mr. Whiskers got into the bin last night and found something that isn't agreeing with his stomach. Suffice to say I had a lot of lovely presents to clean up when I got home from work today. Suffice to say my coach wasn't very pleased when I ran in during warm-ups. He made me do over a hundred extra push-ups while everyone else geared up and started to drill. It was fantastically frustrating to see them all, weapons flashing, while I was using up good arm strength. Oh well, it'll help me in the long run.
And I still won my bout against that damned McPherson. He's been driving me absolutely out of my mind for weeks, strutting around like a peacock and bragging about how he's got this grand trainer all the way from Russia to tutor him at home. Well, fat lot of good that sissy did him! Reminds me of that sodding Malfoy from school.
No use getting hung up because of it. Have to wake up early tomorrow to meet with dear old Ollie. Poor chap seems like he could use a good laugh.
