Hey everyone, I’m Jade and I’m new to the board. I currently only have one character, however I plan to make another later on. I look forward to start RPing with you all.

This is my OC character named Drake Griffin. He’s 30, gay, works at the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department at the Ministry of Magic, Muggle-Born, Animagus and was a Hufflepuff back in his school days. Now currently I’m looking for any plot for him, romance, enemies, best friends, old friends, literally anything. This is the character I would love to get active, so if you have any ideas at all please leave a comment here or PM me. He’s my social butterfly and loves making new friends. Also he is a huge Falmouth Falcons fan.

Personality

Positive: Lively, friendly, loves making new friends, cheerful, kind, not judgemental, loyal, gentle, likes a good laugh, playful, flirtatious, jolly, affectionate, sometimes romantic, shy when he likes someone, patient, good listener, family man.

Negative: Can be rude sometimes, short temper, sensitive, blunt, defensive, opinionated, clumsy, jealous, takes things the wrong way sometimes, snappy, falls for people too fast, doesn’t like letting go of friendships, doesn’t get over traumatic events very well.

Likes: Muggles, griffins, art, Quidditch, sports, reading, playing pranks, drinking, socialising, Care of Magical Creatures, hanging out and making new friends, cooking, long walks, hot drinks, children.

Dislikes: Chocolate, idiots, rude people or arrogant people, Death Eaters, people who insult others for fun, any kind of meat, anything sweet tasting, bullies, people who use others to benefit themselves, people who judge by looks and not personality, hypocrites.

Fears: Water due to he can’t swim and love due to he has had his heart broken a few times.

Friendships

Drake is a very lively and laid back character, he is also quite the social butterfly. He will pretty much talk to anyone or make friends with anyone. Drake is a HUGE Quidditch fanatic and loves The Falmouth Falcons the most. When it comes to conversation Quidditch is favourite subject, however Drake is always happy to talk about pretty much anything. Sure, he can be a little shy sometimes but overall he’s a nice guy. Just make sure not to get in to an argument with him, you probably won’t win due to he can be pretty stubborn. Once you are friends with Drake, he will be loyal and always be a shoulder to cry on. Oh and as another note watch out for his temper, it can get the best of him sometimes.

Enemies

Well, honestly Drake doesn’t have that many. However, if you give him a reason to dislike you then you may have a problem. Drake is very defensive of his blood status and flat out hates the word Mudblood. Drake isn’t the type to go out and make enemies, however due to he can be opinionated it can get the better of him sometimes. Drake can be very cold towards people he dislikes, especially if you have hurt him badly. When it comes to traumatic events and Drake they don’t mix well, he can be rude when challenged. Pretty much if you make enemies with Drake, you have made an enemy for life. He has been known to hold a grudge against people.

Romance

This is a difficult one with Drake. This is due to he has never been very good when it comes to romance, he doesn’t like the idea of opening up and letting out all his emotions to someone. He feels that by doing so, he is letting that person have the fuel to one day backstab him. Drake is currently single, romance is a hard one and I think it would take a lot for him to get over this fear. Honestly, when it comes to romance and Drake it’s overall a very tricky situation.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:250px; height:0px;] GABRIEL & DRAKE Gabe would have been a Hufflepuff two years ahead of Drake, but I can see Gabe being rather friendly with him despite it. Gabe was all about Hufflepuff pride by the time he hit second / third year, so he did a lot of support for the younger years when he had the time. With Drake's personality, I can see Gabe having been fond of him despite the fact he was younger.

That sounds wonderful. Drake too was very much Hufflepuff pride, he would do anything to help the house. I like the idea that your character is a little older, perhaps Drake looked up to him? The more friends the better I say, hehe. Would you like to thread? Perhaps they could met over a Butterbeer or Firewhiskey? =)

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:250px; height:0px;] GABRIEL & DRAKE Ah, gracious, Gabriel's ego would certainly love having someone looking up to him for a change xD Both of them are in the Ministry; Gabe's in the Wizengamot Administration Services (As a Prosecutor, obviously xD) and Drake's up in the Misuse Office; maybe they meet up after work to discuss a case involving misuse that Gabe is prosecuting, or has just finished getting the sentance on?

Ohhh that sounds really interesting actually. I love the idea of discussing a case to do with a misuse of a Muggle item. Awesome, Drake would be happy to help his ego that bit more, hehehe. This could be very interesting, I can see Drake being like *runs hand over back of neck* Oh blimey, what are people throwing at Muggles now? Toasters that dance?

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:250px; height:0px;] GABRIEL & DRAKE Best part is, Gabe was brought up in a Half-Muggle household, so he completely understanbds the function of things and won't be like 'What's a toaster? ._.' but rather, 'Honestly, dancing toasters would be preferable. We've got biting microwaves now.' Or something xDD I have to head home in about 30 minutes or so, and I am not 100% sure if I will get online once I am there so if you wanted to start, that would be lovely, otherwise I can try and get something up tomorrow =3

Would you mind having an enemy? :3 Eleanor has little tolerance for muggles and muggleborns. She's 31 so being a year older than Drake they may have run into one another during their Hogwarts years, though she was a Slytherin. Eleanor was a partier back in school, she is a polite woman when needed but prejudice so she may have perhaps been somewhat of a bully to him and feelings of resentment carried on through the years? Haha^^ what do you think?

Ohh I love that idea. Drake did used to get bullied by Slytherins a lot when he was in his school days. Enemies sounds great, Drake could do with more of those overall. Would you be interested in a thread at all? Perhaps Drake needs Eleanor's assistance with something? =)
