OVERALL PERSONALITY: Draco has a mixture of qualities that can quite often make him an easy read or an enigma. For a large portion of his life, Draco has an enmity towards muggles, half-bloods and blood traitors. He is always a comrade with fellow Slytherins. As of late, his stress while being pressured in the Death Eater community is taking a toll on his personality. Draco has become increasingly prone to pushing away people that are attempting to support him, in particular Pansy Parkinson. He likes to seclude himself and avoid conversation. This is in an attempt to reason with himself and find out a way to deal with his stress.
Draco still enjoys taunting and harassing other students, however to a much lesser extent now than ever. He uses such actions as a way to vent his frustration and emotions more than anything. Those who have interacted with him prior to his current year will be able to notice his change in his usually distinct personality. Draco can hold grudges, especially against his school rival Harry Potter. It seems that at every turn he is bested by the Gryffindor and cannot understand why. It eats away at his thoughts and pushes him to harass the fellow teen even more.
Being born with a silver spoon so to speak has given Draco a trait that is quite evident, especially in physical conflict. If Draco does not get the quick drop on someone with his wand, he quickly resorts to pleading for mercy. He can be considered somewhat of a coward without a spine at times. The teen can rarely stand up for himself when confronted on equal footing with another and always seeks the advantage in any conflict. Despite this, it is perhaps his fear of failing that causes him to not seek a challenge in an equally skilled individual at times. Draco is insecure with his own skills as a wizard, despite being at an advanced level over many of his peers.

OVERALL HISTORY: The son of an extremely wealth and Pure-Blood family, Draco was born to Lucius and Narcissa. During his years before attending Hogwarts, Draco was brought up with core family values that the Malfoys upheld for years. The purity of blood. Muggle born and half blood alike were seen as nothing but smears across the pristine clothing of the Wizarding world. He became quickly judgmental of any non pure-bloods and sought only to make friends with those of pure-blood. It was after all what he was taught. He had even met the famous Harry Potter while obtaining school supplies for his first year. His litany of hate for muggle borns didn't sit well with Harry and a long life rivalry had slowly began to develop.
His first year at Hogwarts proved to be fairly straightforward for a Malfoy. Immediately sorted in to Slytherin without a shadow of doubt, Draco made friends and his own gang rather quickly. He mocked and harassed many of the other students, in particular though were Harry and his friends. In an attempt to land the famed Harry Potter in trouble, Draco had tattled to Professor McGonagall that year about Hagrid's little pet. Despite smirking at the prospect of landing Potter in trouble, he too was punished for being out after curfew. He was forced in to assisting Hagrid along with Harry and his friends. Such a task was quick beneath the pure-blood and wished nothing more than to hire someone else to take his place.
His second year proved to be exciting. Draco was announced seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch team and acquired a rather expensive set of brooms. Not only was the broom for himself, but for the entire Slytherin Quidditch teams. They rode upon Nimbus 2001's. Draco continued his onslaught of verbal harassment, including calling Hermione Granger a filthy mud-blood. Draco's pent up anger and rage over Potter proved to be his team's downfall during the Quidditch game against Gryffindor. Despite this, Draco had no intention of letting up in his rivalry with the Gryffindor. Nobody had the right to lecture him. He was a Malfoy and would do as he pleased. During a dueling class, Draco was matched up against Harry. He had decided to get the drop and start early by conjuring a snake on the dueling floor. He was rather displeased with the fact that his sneak attack did nothing as Harry spoke to the snake in parseltongue. Knowing this information, Draco believed Harry to be the heir to Slytherin. Unknown to him, Draco revealed he was no the heir to Slytherin to Harry and Ron disguised as Crabbe and Goyle through the use of a polyjuice potion. Draco did take a stab at Hermione, hoping she was next on the list of the famed Basilisk.
Draco found his third year to be quite entertaining. His new found way of harassing potter was over his fear of the Dementors that were searching for Sirius Black. Black was a famed 'killer' for betraying close friends and family. Draco revealed a moral belief in the fact that if anyone ever did something similar to his family, he'd ensure that they'd regret it. During a Gryffindor match against Ravenclaw, Draco and his gang decided it would be a good idea to imitate Dementors. This backfired of course when Harry unleashed the Patronus Charm, a skill that Draco had yet to master of even study. Later during the Care of Magical Creatures class, Draco was injured by the hippogriff Buckbeak. Deciding to use his injure as an excuse and catapult for further harassment, Draco decided to attempt to get Hagrid fired over the incident. His father even went so far to get the creature executed. The Slytherin also had a frightful encounter with the enraged Hermione Granger who threatened him at wand point. This terrified Draco, however he still hadn't let off on any verbal harassment or mocking the rest of the year.
His fourth year saw him attending the Quidditch World Cup with his parents. He quite enjoyed the march of Death Eaters and seemed inspired about their group. A decision he would soon to regret after becoming one in later years. Draco despised the fact that Harry was chosen as a champion to represent Hogwarts along with Cedric Diggory. He resorted to slogans and ad campaigns against Potter with lines such as 'Potter Stinks'. The crafty and intuitive Slytherin used Rita Skeeter as a catalyst for slander against Harry during that year. 'Alastor Moody' was the current Professor for Defense Against the Dark Arts. Draco had attempted to curse Harry out of sheer disdain, however the Professor had caught him on the school grounds while in the act. He was turned in to a ferret for a short period of time. Such a humiliating show was another strike in the grudge score. Draco was on the receiving end of the stick for much of the later year, being taunted for the incident. He later attended the Yule Ball with Pansy Parkinson.
In fifth year, Draco began to slowly discover the secrets and workings of his family and the Death Eaters. He became part of the Inquisitorial Squad which was a 'cream of the crop' group of students selected due to their support of the Ministry by Umbridge herself. Draco abused his power for being part of the organization, and also became prefect that year. He went so far that year to mock Ron Weasley over his failure. The song was entitled Weasley Is Our King. It was fifth year that Harry was discovered creating an 'army'. To be exact, it was Dumbledore's Army as they called it. Draco did his detective work and it proved useful in Harry's capture along with his friends. Holding them prisoner, Umbridge was going to confront them had it not been for the inconvenient interference and skill of their captives to escape. Draco was also a casualty, suffering from Ginny Weasley's Hex. Lucius, Draco's father, had participated in the battle at the Department of Mysteries. Failing in his duties as a Death Eater, he was imprisoned for his incompetence to the Dark Lord. This angered Draco, causing shame to fill his heart about his family. He vowed to give Potter a nightmare, however was unsuccessful due to Harry's larger group of friends. Draco's gang was no match for Harry's much more loyal group.
Draco was filled with hesitation and confusion after that year. Joining the Death Eaters in place of his father, he was given the insurmountable task of assassinating Albus Dumbledore and bringing Death Eaters in to the halls of Hogwarts. Plotting such a plan would prove stressful and near impossible...however he was a Slytherin after all.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:
Draco's eyes nervously glanced around the corners of the alley ways. Shadows from wandering groups of people gave him the jitters as cold sweat dripped from his brow. His hand shakily moved to his hair, trying to flatten the slightly frazzled mess. He could see his reflection in a puddle on the cobblestone ground. His eyes locked with his slightly disheveled appearance. The messy tie, the creased coat, the worried look. Everything as looking terrible. Where did his life take such a turn for the worst?
Since you were born in to the Malfoy family. The words lingered in the air, causing Draco to twirl around in a panic. His hand immediately had drawn his wand, shakily pointing it around in any direction someone could be coming from. "Who's there? Show yourself you coward!" The silence sat heavy before the mysterious voice whispered again. A shrill laughter sent a chill down Draco's spine before the voice continued on. Oh such words coming from someone who is actually a coward. You couldn't even defeat Harry Potter if your life depended on it. Such a shame and waste of life on a Malfoy if you ask me.
Draco's eyes were skittering as he still couldn't pinpoint the voice. It was all around him and in his head. What type of magic was this? His heart thumped as loud as the wing beat of a dragon. The skittering sound of feet coming down the alley made Draco turn, only to see a few rats. His eyes locked on to them as the skittered about before crawling in to a nearby hole in the alley. Draco's breath began to calm itself. Turning around, gray eyes met that of a familiar face.
Long, silver hair draped across shoulders as Lucius stood there. "Father?" The man before Draco did not move, nor utter a word as Draco's brow furrowed. Cautiously, the teen moved forward toward the statue of a man. Inching closer, he extended a hand and reached out to touch him. Where he should have felt cloth, the figure before him vanished in a cloud of shadows. Draco immediately reacted, throwing himself backwards. Nearly collapsing, the teen's heart began to thump again with the rhythm of a galloping horse.
It was then that the ground began to feel...unsteady. Draco's hand that was propping himself up lifted to glance at what was there. What was once a stone street beneath him was becoming a gooey mess of tar. He could feel his body slipping down in to it. Gray eyes widened in horror as he tried to claw his way out, however his efforts were fruitless. Snatching at nothing but air, Draco watching as shadows merged together, forming bodies around him. He could recognize them all. There was his father and mother. Soon more shadows coalesced in to existence. Figures of Crabbe, Goyle, Parkinson appeared as he was now neck in the tar like substance.
He couldn't move now, Draco could feel his body becoming totally enveloped as his eyes darted around to see another set of shadows emerge. These shadows began to spiral in to being, forming faces he always would remember. Granger, Weasley, and finally Potter. If there was one thing he could distinguish in all of their faces, it was emotion. After all the years, it wasn't hatred or fury. It was somehow pity. It made Draco's stomach turn knots. He spat at the idea of someone else pitying him of all people. A Malfoy. He'd teach them all. The Slytherin was soon swallowed by the tar like ground.
In an instant, Draco's eyes shot wide open. He scrambled around for a moment, trying to get his bearings. Nope. He wasn't devoured by the ground, nor was there anyone around him. It was simply him and his lonesome self in the Slytherin common room. A small exasperated sigh escaped his lips as the teen crossed legs and stared at the fire crackling in the fireplace.
