OVERALL PERSONALITY: Cho is polite and, even though she was popular in her younger years, she's still friendly. She's intelligent (she was sorted into Ravenclaw, after all) and enjoys her school work. She makes friends easily and sticks close to them. She's loyal and she doesn't mind lending an ear when someone needs to talk. She's a very avid Quidditch fan, and cheers loudly at the games for the team she believes should win. She's dedicated; she goes to every Quidditch training session for Ravenclaw: rain or shine. She easily becomes jealous if the boy she likes or is with is around another girl she views as a threat.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION: Cho is slender, but not too skinny. Her hair is black and falls to her mid-chest region. She wears her uniform every where, unless it is not a school day, she's in Hogsmede, or it is the summer. She keeps her hair well brushed, and prefers not to wear makeup unless it's chapstick or occasionally lip gloss. Her nails are well trimmed and she maintains a groomed apperaance.

OVERALL HISTORY: Cho was born to a muggle father, and a witch mother. Her mother is twelve years younger than her father, but that was not frowned down upon. In fact, it was regarded as a good match once they became engaged. Almost exactly nine months after their wedding, baby Cho Jiao Chang was born. She was a very quiet, sweet baby and didn't cry often. She instead enjoyed staring at random things with keen interest.

When she was five-years-old, her parents began to realize how avid she was with everything around her. She wanted to know how items worked, how humans breathed, how magic was blessed upon someone or cursed someone with not having it. She wanted to understand squibs, muggles, witches, everything. She wanted to know the answer to all of life's questions.

When she was seven and a half, she had her first magical experience. She was sitting by herself in her room, reading a book, when she had wished she was at the seaside. How romantic an idea that was, to close one's eyes as the swells of the ocean crashed near you, to hear the wave, to feel the parchment of the book between your fingers before you flipped pages-- suddenly a sea mist sprayed in her face and she snapped her eyes open to realize that she was completely drenched.

Running to tell her mother and father, they were both overjoyed. Though her father had secretly hoped Cho would be like him, go to muggle school, and eventually inherit his store, she was destined for greater things. She got her Hogwarts letter on her eleventh birthday, and went with her mother to Diagon Alley to prepare. She saw many wonders there, and even got to pick out her wand. Or, more like, it picked her.

When she finally got to go to Hogwarts, she was overjoyed. There were so many great things to learn, and she could finally understand the world around her. She would find the answers she sought inside of this school and, with patience, she would learn to tame her magical abilities and wield them how she wished. She was diligent with her studies. She always received passing marks. Even Divination did not stand a chance when she put her mind to it and focused, willing herself to pass. She gave it up as soon as she was able to, but she was still proud she had received a good mark in it.

Cho dated Cedric Diggory her Fifth Year, and was dismayed when he passed on. She stoutly believed Harry Potter when he said that it was Voldemort who had slain him. She mourned his loss heavily, and joined Dumbledore's Army as soon as she was told of its formation. She was loyal to her friend Marietta even when they turned them all in.
