OVERALL PERSONALITY: Rosy is a very quick and witty personality. She has no problem telling you where she stands or if you need to back off, etc. Another aspect about her is her mouth. She tends to be pretty rough with what she says but knows when to tone it down. Otherwise, she is just brutally honest, almost to a fault. Despite this, she’s got a good heart and is extremely loyal to each one of her friends.

She’s one of those women who will sit there and listen to you for hours on end. She has to be a good listener, she is a bartender after all. Rosmerta tends to be rather prideful and doesn’t like to admit to being wrong. To the point where she’ll just keep arguing and arguing until the other person gives up even though she’s wrong.

Also, she’s ultra competitive. She was a Seeker while on the Ravenclaw Quiddich team while she was in school so she has a deep love for the game. Rosy can be spotted often times at Hogwarts attending matches.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION: Many people find Rosmerta to be very beautiful and an attractive woman. Her eyes are a deep blue and they go well with her dirty blonde curls. Her build is that of an athlete, she’s continued to stay fit, believing in a healthy lifestyle for herself. Rosy is well equipped at the hips and with cleavage. Otherwise, she has pretty distinguishing curves. One thing she is crazy about is her nails. She always keeps them long and red no matter what.

OVERALL HISTORY: To the people of Hogwarts not much is really known about Rosmerta. She’s just the pretty face down at the pub to a lot. To those who’ve really gotten to know her will realize she’s much more.

Born in early November of 1966, Rosmerta had two very loving and gifted wizards as parents. She was born in Germany, but the small family of three moved to London before her third birthday so they’d be closer to Hogwarts, the school the parents planned on sending young Rosy. Her mother often called her Rosy, so the nickname stuck most of her childhood and through time at Hogwarts. Her parents raised in a small suburb outside of London on a small scale farm, her mother had a love for horses and often took part in competitions with them in the Muggle world since she was a Muggle born witch. Her father was full blooded, however. The two parents met at Hogwarts. The family was very well off, financially.

Rosy is very good with animals. Growing up, her parents obviously had horses, but her father brought her back a peacock once from one of his travels, he was studying different plants, so he was a Herbologist. It became her very favorite pet until she had to leave for Hogwarts, unable to take her with her. Her mother was the owner of The Three Broomsticks, and managed that while raising Rosy.

Once Rosy was sent to Hogwarts, she was placed in Ravenclaw just like her father. Her mother being in Slytherin but acting nothing like one. At least not in her days of being a mother, she often heard stories of how sneaky Lorelei was at her age. Neither one of her parents were super star students, and this was inherited by Rosmerta. She didn’t struggle but wasn’t really an amazing academic student either. The one thing she was good at, academically, was her ability to write. It blew people away, especially her professors. Students would ask her to write papers for them, and she would…for a high price. Words just come easy to her.

Once she was a third year student, Rosy made the Quiddich team as a Seeker. She was thrilled for two reasons. One, she actually made the team, and two; she was a far better athlete than student. Rosy did very well as a Seeker; one of her favorite memories is her winning against Gryffindor because she caught the Snitch right off the bat. Game was done in less than five minutes. Unfortunately, her favorite game was the cause of her worst fear: drowning.

It was a perfect day for a game of Quiddich. It was cool out and slightly cloudy, but not too much. It was a game against Slytherin during her fifth year. By then she had become one of the best Ravenclaw Seekers of her age. The Snitch had flown far out of the arena, but Rosy still flew after it, along with Slytherin’s Seeker. They were flying over a thicket of trees and a river that wasn’t visible due to the trees. She was making a risky reach for the ball, and was pushed off balance by the other Seeker. She fell from her broom, hitting branches and limbs from the trees on the way down, eventually landing in the river. Her arm had been broken and her shoulder cut up badly so it was difficult for her to swim. Rosmerta was dragged under the water many times and was fixing to drown before one of the professors came to fish her out after noticing she hadn’t flown back after the Slytherin Seeker. By the time the teacher got to her, she had already passed out and was taken to the hospital wing inside Hogwarts. She woke up the next day to find her shoulder permanently scared and her right arm broken. She is now ambidextrous since she had to learn to write with her left hand.

Honestly, her fifth year was a downer. That was also the year that her father joined the Death Eaters, leaving her poor mother to fend for herself and without much warning at all. It was heartbreaking for Rosmerta, she was close with both her parents and was hurt to see her dad just leave, and for such a horrid cause too. She pretended like it didn’t bother her to have a Death Eater parent, but it did. It affected her deeply. Rosy had always been told how much she reminded people of her father, and now he was a monster. Would that be her future too? She refused to let that happen, Rosy swore to herself she’d die before succumbing to the Dark Arts. She also refused to go by his name, changing her last name to her mother's maiden name.

During this time is when she met Liam, a friend who has stuck with her ever since. They have a pretty fun relationship, not like brother sister, but she can get protective over him since he’s a good 4 years younger than she is. He likes to bug her, for example, calling her Merta just to piss her off.

After her graduation, she decided to take the family pub off her mother’s hands since she was getting too old to really want to do it any longer. She’s been working there since her time at Hogwarts ended in 1977-78. Not ever was there a man who really made an impact on her heart, she takes a bit to open up so to affect her, you’ve got to spend time getting to know her first. She liked other guys, but never really been in love before.

She has made many friends within the Hogsmeade village. Rosy (as she’s referred to as still), has been an open heart to many in need, often providing free residence to the needy even if it’s brought her close to having to sell the pub at times, but now it’s so popular she hasn’t had finance issues in years. She was pretty upset with Dumbledore for allowing Dementors to be on the premises. They were scaring away her customers and causing issues for her friends in the village. She nearly put a hammer through Mr. Fudge’s head at the mention of them, once.

She was also one of the people made aware of Harry Potter’s relation to Sirius Black by Minerva McGonagall and Fudge. She plans on bringing aid of any kind to Hogwarts during time of war. She also plans on taking part in combat.
