THE VALENTINES DAY GAMES!
After the recent attack on Hogsmeade it’s fair to say most people haven’t given two cents to the idea of Valentine’s Day.
Until now.
The students of Hogwarts have awoken to find the great hall a flurry of falling confetti and paper hearts, the usual décor replaced with elegant arrays of flowers, hearts and all the reds, pinks and sparkles a girl could ask for.
And Hogwarts isn’t the only one getting in the mood.
The Daily Prophet Gossip Columnists are running a rather questionable poll with one simple question. If you could spike anyone with a love potion who would it be? And more importantly who would be the first person you wanted them to see and fall madly in love with? It all seems innocent enough but rumours have circulated that the ‘fortunate’ winner might receive more then they bargain for.
Witch Weekly has also implemented ALOS, the ‘Anonymous Love Owl System’. Where a rather special card will be sent to that certain someone with whatever message you so desire - all with complete anonymity.
Some have deemed all this a crass display, others a welcome distraction from the trails of war. Take it or leave it, a few lonely souls might be dragged unwittingly into the celebrations yet.

Welcome to our February Event!
Unlike the previous events this is merely a spot of fun with two games as a small break to the horrors of war. You may also use this event board for all your Valentinesy Threads.
Game 1:
Nominate a victim for the Daily Prophet’s Love Potion.
Who would you choose to spike? If you had complete control who would you have standing right in front of them when the effects kicked in? Whether it's for true love or whether it would just be damn funny, rumour has it - it just might happen!
OWL all Prophet Nominations to our Gossip Columnist – KaitDear Gossip Columnists, if I could pick anyone in the world it would have to be:
NOMINATION HERE who receives the love potion.
And they would fall desperately in love with NOMINATION HERE
Game 2:
The anonymous love owls
We all know how to send a Valentine’s Day Card. Now’s your character’s chance. Is there a special someone you’re character would like to voice their feelings to? Perhaps an enemy you’d like to play a trick on? Whatever it is it remains completely anonymous, but that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t attempt to hunt down the culprit if you’re lucky enough to receive a ‘Love Owl’.
OWL all Cards to our Witch Weekly Correspondent – Britt
(unless they're intended for one of Britt's characters - in which case they can go to Kait)
All OWL’s remain anonymous and the card will be received by your beau on the 14th.
What they do with it then is completely up to them!Dear Witch Weekly – ALOS ME!
