LIKES:
- BEING ALONE:
As a result of being alone most of the time, Virgil became used to it. He is usually seen alone reading a book, or just sit alone, thinking to himself. - TRANSFIGURATION:
It is his favorite subject. The art of turning one thing into something else fascinates him. - ASTRONOMY:
His father is an Astronomer, and he inspired his son to love the subject. - WEREWOLVES:
At first, it seemed to him that werewolves are fearful creatures. But since his third year, after he got a chance to study about them, not to mention his teacher was a werewolf, he realized that they just can’t control themselves during the full moon. He became sympathetic toward the term ‘werewolf’. - HOT DRINK:
Especially in the winter. - JOGGING:
Virgil likes keeping himself in shape. Every morning, he would wake up earlier than others to have a little jog on the school ground. - A FAIR FIGHT:
Yes, he is not the type of person who likes to have his opponent out-numbered, nor the type who would bully younger kids either. A proper duel, however, may interest him. - WINDY DAYS:
He loves wind. That’s all.
- THE OUTDOOR:
Being inside a house for too long and he will throw a tantrum. - MINERVA MCGONAGALL:
He likes her method of teaching, the way she handle things around the school, the way she deal with people. - GRYFFINDORS:
Surprised? Unlike most Slytherin, he viewed the Gryffindors as decent people. Sometimes he sees them as worthy opponents to overcome. Sure they can be on his nerves at times, but he just simply let the wind blow it away.
- PHINEAS NIGELLUS BLACK:
A Slytherin headmaster! Definitely his goal.
DISLIKES:
- BLOOD PURIFICATION:
He doesn’t find it to be necessary. He just can’t understand why people have to classify blood status and stuffs like that then fight each other over it. - DEEP WATER:
He is terrified of deep water. Will explain later. - MOST SLYTHERINS:
He found them to be dumb, cocky bastards. - THE SORTING HAT:
He believes it had chosen a wrong house for him. - ARGUMENTS:
He finds them to be tiring. Thanks to this, he often able to come up with a good way to end an argument. - ALMOND:
Just doesn’t like the taste and smell - SPICY FOOD:
Nothing to be said here… - RAIN:
Rainy days usually give him a sad mood. It is also because he can’t go outside on rainy days. - HIS PARENTS:
Actually, it’s more like he dislikes the way they think. Their point of view is the opposite of his. And he is tired of all the support blood purification things they try to make him listen to.
STRENGNTHS:
- KEEN EYES:
This boy is usually able to pick up signs that people don’t notice or overlook, which gives him a good sense on a person. Occasionally, he can tell if the person is lying. This ability came from the fact that he mostly just observes people instead of interacting with them. He can also see a little further than a normal person. - TRANSFIGURATION & CHARM:
He studies them seriously, and probably has some talent at them. He had mastered almost every spells he was taught in charm, and performed better than many of his fellow Slytherins in Transfiguration. - COOKING:
Can’t blame him for having a side-talent. He learned to cook since he was 12, watching his mother cook and all. - FAIR PLAY:
He has this strong desire and will to become the Minister of Magic. He would do whatever to get there. But he rather does it the friendly-competitive way, no super evil scheme or stuffs like that. On a side note, Virgil respects his opponent and rarely underestimates them. - SELF-CCONTROL:
He’s good at containing himself. Usually he doesn’t over react. - AMBITIOUS:
He wants to be on the top of the list of everything. And his future goal was to be the Minister.
WEAKNESS:
- HYDROPHOBIC:
Due to an incident when he was younger, he now has a great fear of water that goes passed his hips. Even looking at a large lake could make his legs tremble. (And Hogwarts just has to be surrounded by a huge lake…) - ISOLATED:
He doesn’t like people in his own House, and people in other Houses see him as ‘another Slytherin’ and of course they wouldn’t try to have a chat with a Slytherin. So he really has no one to talk to. He became a quiet boy who hardly said a word. And now, with a complicated choice ahead, he has no one to share his problem with. - NOT GOOD UNDER PRESSURE:
Despite how good he can control himself, he gets stressed out easily. It will make him very grumpy or completely lost on what to do. The O.W.L year was terrible. He even snapped at the Slytherins for being too noisy in the common room when he was studying. - HIGHLY COMPETITIVE:
Imagine that you are sitting next to him. You write faster than him, and he will try to write faster, then you write even faster and he will write even faster than your fast. Yes, that’s how he is. - POTION:
You would think a Sly like him would be excellent at this subject. Think again. Not all Slytherins are gifted with potion making. Or maybe it’s because Snape scares him so much he can’t do anything right. We’ll never know…
GOALS:
- Becomes Minister of Magic or at least Head Master of Hogwarts
- Figure out which path to take
- Find out the use of the magnificent flower in the Forbidden Forrest
- Overcome his fear and learn how to freaking swim.

OVERALL HISTORY:
He was glad he got to return to Hogwarts, where he could be away from all their talking, even nagging, of his mother and father. But then the Slytherins in the common room were concerned about the same thing. He had been asked by a few and had to distract the topic to something else. Slytherins who said they weren’t supporting the idea became target for the pureblooded bullies, and Virgil wouldn’t want his life any more miserable. The whole thing gave him so much pressure he couldn’t focus on his study, even made him lose his sleeps. And there he thought OWLs exam time was bad enough.
Then came the attack on Hogsmeade. He was one of those stuck in the middle of the chaos. It was frightening. He had never seen so much destruction in his life, and for the first time, heard the voice of Lord Voldemort. It terrified him how his parents wanted him to serve that man and how the other Slytherins had lowered their wands for their own life. He didn’t lower his wand, but did run and hid for his dear life. Only when everything seemed to stop blowing up did he come out. After that day, he ended up with several scratches and burns, but overall he was fine.
It was on a November night when he finally finished all his essays and gotten some sleep, so good that he thought it was too good to be true. And when he woke up, as early as usual, he was shocked to find himself somewhere away from his room. A strange room he had never seen before, with a man, also strange, stood there, looking at him. Wasn’t prepared for it, he was freaked out, searching for his wand to defend himself.
Then the man, who is now known to him as Phantom, explained to him why he was there, and how, also explained to him that he won’t be seen or heard by anyone else. The man then led him into the forbidden forest. He refused to go at first, saying there were dangerous beasts everywhere in there. But eventually gave in and followed the man. They went deeper and deeper for a long time. So long Virgil began to feel nervous of what might be waiting at their destination. However, it turned out to be just a clearing where a flower was growing. It was the most beautiful flower he had ever seen, and really made him stare at it in astonishment. Phantom told him the flower was very important, and gave him a map leading to its location. The mysterious man, however, didn’t say why the flower was so important, even when he asked.
The rest of the three weeks was spent hanging around the flower, talking to Phantom, invading the library at night or observing the Griffindor trio whenever he got a chance to watch them. He had never spoken a word to them before, due to their house’s rivalry. Besides, he didn’t think they would enjoy a Slytherin’s company either. But he was curious, all the stories about Harry Potter and his two friends. He envied them, for being placed in the right place, where they belonged. Unlike him, who was misjudged somehow, they have friends.
They returned just as sudden as they disappear. The whole school was shocked to see him and the trios just came into the Great Hall – well, the Weasley guy got a better entrance though- like nothing happened. After that, he was constantly questioned by the other Slytherins. He tried to make it sound like they really went on a trip to a country aboard. Though, he sometimes was afraid of someone finding out.
Since his came back, he buried himself under tons of books in the library, in hope of finding out what was the reason for him being led to that flower. Then he would sneak out of school at night, just to make sure the flower was still there and unharmed. In truth, he liked sitting there for a couple of hours, gazing at the flower. There was something about it that made him feel less stressed.
Lucky, yet sad as it was, he slept through the night Hogsmeade was attacked the second time. Can’t blame him, the room was underground and far away from the village. The next day, he was really shocked to hear the news, and read the details from the Daily Prophet.[/ul]
