OVERALL PERSONALITY: Anita is reserved and tends to keep to herself. She's not shy, but more so private. Her muggle family raised her to be a lady, so she has a sense of elegance about her when she speaks/the way she carries herself. She wasn't put in Slytherin on accident; Anita can blackmail and manipulate without any remorse. Although she won't do that to people without a good reason, she does enjoy getting inside people's heads. Which is ironic because that's the biggest thing that bothers her in other people.

Obviously she is somewhat hypocritical too. Anita is a no-nonsense kind of lady and doesn't take BS from anyone. There are a couple of people she allows to tease her, but that's after a good while of knowing them. She makes people work for her affection/friendship. If she gets the feeling she's being used, Anita will point it out and send you on your way; with a possible blow to your ego as well. She's normally pretty calm, but she can have mean streaks if the mood hit her right.

Loyalty, however, is a strength of hers. Once you chip down her walls so to speak, Anita will remain by your side, friend or lover, for as long as that person continues to want her in their life. She doesn't show it well, or very often, but she loves her small circle of friends. And when she does get romantically involved with someone (rare, but it happens), she falls hard.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION: Anita has often been described as an "hourglass" figure. She's very curvy and has an elegant beauty about her. Her skin is pale, so her dark eyes and red lips stand out against it. She is a thin lady too, but she appears larger than she is because of her wider hips. Her mannerisms are very graceful. She will more likely than not come across as the regal woman from a first glance. When she does smile, its usually just a small, no teeth showing upper turn of her lips. She has dimples, and they show with the smallest of facial expressions she makes.

OVERALL HISTORY: Anita is a native of Ireland, but at the young age of three, her wealthy muggle family moved to London due to her father's work. Her father was the owner of several airlines in London, so he decided to move the Cooper family closer to work so that he wouldn't have to travel so far from his wife and daughter so often. Anita's mother had worked for a local newspaper as a reporter before she birthed Anita. After she gave birth, she and her husband decided it'd be best if she remained home to care for Anita.

When Anita was four, she became an older sister. Her brother, Damien, was born. The two are extremely close, and spent most of their time as children together. While she was the only witch of the family (aside from the witch or wizard far back in her lineage), her brother was actually the first to truly notice how different his sister was. Possibly a bit late, but at the age of nine was when Anita's parents became aware of the magical gifts of their child. Things that would be out of either of their children's reach would be found in their laps the second they turned around, or each time Anita was upset or crying, it got cloudy outside. In general, odd thing would typically occur when Ani was around.

As nerve racking as it was for a muggle family to parent a young witch, they still love their daughter very much. Her brother was actually very proud of his sister, but after saying a few questionable things to his teacher one day about his "magical sister", the Coopers soon admonished any bragging or speaking of Anita's oddness. And of course witchery was confirmed on her eleventh birthday when her Hogwarts letter was delivered. Her parents were hesitant to send her away to some unknown school with other magical beings. By this time though, Anita had taken after her mother and become very opinionated. She wished to attend the school, so after giving it more thought, her parents allowed her to go. Damien, her brother, was happy for her, but he was somewhat jealous too. It has been a bit of a sore spot for the two sibling; the fact that Anita has special abilities and he didn't ever get any.

Her first year at Hogwarts definitely proved to be interesting. Anita wasn't deemed as shy, but she was kind of a loner. She preferred to be alone when studying, or just in general. Her sorting ceremony was a hat stall, considering her for both Ravenclaw and Slytherin. After a few minutes, she was sorted into Slytherin to the shock of those who were aware of her muggleborn bloodline. She later learned the pureblood/mudblood story and was genuinely irked that there were people who believed she couldn't be a good Slytherin witch because of her heritage. She did get a lot of grief about her blood status from the other Slytherin students, but Anita continued to be proud of it, a trait that she will continue to hold into womanhood.

Her later years as a student, she would prove to be quite talented at Transfiguration; and had a strong love for CoMC. She had always been partial to the animals, magical or not. Her family owned a few horses so she was used to being around animals from childhood. Potions on the other hand is a different story. She hated that class, and to this day remains to be rubbish at them. It was a wonder she even passed the OWLs for that class because it was definitely the hardest one for her. Transfiguration was and still is her strength.

During her seventh year was when Anita began asking for help on learning to become an Animagus. She had learned about it since her third year and had been entranced ever since. Ani didn't master the act within one year, and was even still working on mastering it when she became a junior clerk at the Ministry of Magic once she graduated from Hogwarts. her NEWTS were in Transfiguration and CoMC, her two best and favored subjects.

She worked as junior clerk at the Ministry for a couple of years, usually working in the Animagus registry section, which she enjoyed. And of course after working there for about two years, she became a senior clerk. Anita was never moved very far from the animagus registry because it was apparent she had a love for being there. She spent a very long time working as a senior clerk. Eventually, when she turned thirty, she was promoted once more as Head of Animagus Registry Department. And around that time was when she had mastered becoming an Animagus after practicing for years, she found her form to be that of a bombay cat. Her distinguishing marking was a thin, white ring around her third left toe. It represented a sapphire ring she wore on a daily basis that her grandmother, Lorraine (her namesake) gave to her before she died. Of course the road of becoming an animagus wasn't easy. There had been times when she had been stuck with cat ears or a tail because the spell backfired on her. Now, of course, she's learned to eliminate those embarrassing errors that before she'd have to deal with for a couple of days at most.

Between the time she was hired and the time she became head of department, Anita was involved in a werewolf accident. She had actually been romantically involved with a man who also worked at the Ministry, whom was a werewolf unbeknownst to her as was her blood status to him. He was a fellow Slytherin alumni, and like most didn't approve of muggle borns; but Ani didn't know this about him yet. At the time she was about twenty eight years old, and apparently he had found out about her blood status and immediately wished her to be killed. Like most Slytherin, he despised muggle born witches/wizards. He purposely remained outside under the full moon with Anita in his presence in hopes that he could make it look like an accidental death. His plan backfired when Anita's quick thinking allowed her to actually kill him. A stunning spell had been her only intention, but a cliff had been very close to his paws and the force of her charm sent him toppling over the edge. While he didn't kill Ani, it left her physically and mentally scared. He had gotten a hold of her waist and torn three good sized scratches deep into her hip. Mentally, Anita became a lot less trusting of other people, male or not. She hates werewolves or anything dog-like too. While she was never a woman of emotion, she was able to hide the emotional damage that had caused her. Of course it hurt to know that someone she loved was willing to murder her due to her heritage. It also enraged her, and only fueled her desire to become a better witch just to prove to the pureblood race that they weren't superior to anyone. As it's a bit prejudice and maybe even hypocritical, Anita is a bit wary of purebloods. Her first impression of anyone who is tends to be a snobby one. Of course once she gets to know you, she isn't wary any longer. But again, she takes a lot of prying, but her loyalty and deep care for her close friends/loved ones makes it worth it.

Currently, she still holds the position of Head of Department over at the Ministry of Magic. Anita is a very well trained and talented witch, she has a lot of discipline too when it comes to magic. She's a professional woman with a witty tongue and with a bit of a guarded heart. Her relationship with her family is still strong, her brother and she speak very often and she visits the muggle world whenever she can.
