Personality: Charlotte is the youngest child of her family, with three elder brothers. As such she is quite stubborn about getting her way. Her brothers were always walking all over her in her youth, and trying to get her to blend into the background. When Josie turned seven was when that all changed. She started to be louder to get her point across, and she always put her foot down when someone was trying to give her the short end of the stick. Because of that, years and years later, she goes after what she wants. She puts her mind to something and refuses to yield. She believes in what she does, and if you don't agree with that then too frickin' bad! She doesn't make excuses for herself, or her actions. If she did something it was because she believed it was the best thing or because she believed in it. That means if you don't like it, she won't apologize but she will tell you that that's just how things are. Though she's brash and speaks her mind, that doesn't mean she can't be sensitive. If someone-- a friend, for example-- needs her to listen she's able to. She's usually always on the move and she's excitable when with her friends. She's always getting into shenanigans if left to her own devices. Years of detention has never changed that. History: Charlotte was born on May 28 to her happy parents May and David Sawyer. They were over the moon about finally having the female they had been hoping for. With three older brothers, May had been getting a bit frayed at the edges to have something 'softer.' Of course that would not be the case with Charlotte when she grew older, but when she was a baby and toddler she was quite placid and sweet. She is the only one in her family to inherit her father's red hair; her mother is a brunette, and her brothers have taken after her. As such, she's quite a Daddy's girl while her brothers are close to their mother. That isn't to say that May and Charlotte aren't close; they are close, just that Charlotte prefers to spend time with her father when given a choice. When she turned eight she began to show signs of magical ability. Her parents were quite befuddled by it, but decided to ignore it and hope it would go away. Strange, unexplainable things were happening whenever Charlotte became too emotional, or even without being prompted by her. Her mother thought it was odd, and spoke with Charlotte about it but nothing was ever decided upon the matter. Upon turning eleven Charlotte received her Hogwarts letter and all was explained. Her eldest brother was quite jealous that she had magical abilities while the rest of the family were all completely ordinary as muggles, but he eventually came to accept this part of her. Her parents were excited to learn these new things, and every summer when she came home to visit they would drill her for information. Charlotte was sorted into Hufflepuff when she started at Hogwarts. She met many friends and became close knit with certain people. One of those friends would end up being Iris Wolfe. They would continue to be close friends after they graduated Hogwarts as well. During her school years, she began to excel at Charms. She found it quite enjoyable to learn the new spells, and to start to perform them well. Transfiguration was the second class she did very good in, while Defense Against the Dark Arts was also interesting. She wasn't the best in Potions, but she compensated that by studying every spare moment she got and she eventually scraped by with the necessary grades she needed for her future job position. History of Magic was interesting the first two years, but after that it lost all novelty to her. Care of Magical Creatures was her bad class out of all of the ones she took over the years. When the day came for her to choose her future career she was sure she wanted St. Mungo's, but it was hard for her to decide exactly what to be in there. Eventually-- because she was so keen on Charms-- she chose to become the Charms Trainee and work her way up from there. By the time she chose her future job, she was excited to finish up her last year of school and get started on her career. The last two years since leaving Hogwarts have been spent learning the tricks of her trade, and getting settled in St. Mungo's. Even though her job is hectic and confusing at times-- and there is a lot of pressure on her at all times during her shift-- she finds she wouldn't trade it for the world!
