As discussed, these two are really close friends! I would say best friends? Well, she's muggleborn so she would have never made fun of Iris for being raised like a muggle, or even being a half-blood. She probably wouldn't have ever even thought of it!

Let's look up how old they have to be to get drunk. Ooh, sticking Cissa and an auror in the same thread could be a load of fun. It's going to be pretty obvious that aurors are likely suspicious of her, and she probably doesn't take too kindly to them on the sheer principle of the thing. I could go for these two pumping into each other out and about in the world and kind of having a very impolite staring contest and a small match of wits.

Théodore & Iris

Ah my resident Lady Killer. Théo likely knows her both through school and work. She's a half-blood so there's a somewhat fair chance that he's at one point flirted or found himself slightly involved with her, though it wouldn't have been very long. He was a bit more tolerant in his school days if nothing else. If she was a past fling, I might suggest a bit of discontent with him.

i'd totally change characters to reply but i'm too lazy i don't even care okay. anyway yeah that would be interesting to see. iris is only two years out of school so she was at hogwarts briefly with draco and most likely thought he was a spoiled little shit and she'd assume cissa was the one who made him that way so she'd be expecting to be facing a haughty pureblood who taught her kid to hate on muggleborns and halfbloods. ANYWAY WHAT I'M SAYING IS THE DYNAMIC WOULD BE INTERESTING because of course she'd also highly suspect her and her husband due to her briefings and such and would be very wary.

LOL god they'd be fun to play as past flings especially since they both work at the ministry. if she every ran into him she'd probably make jibes like "hey rochfort, been with any halfbloods recently? no? huh, that's interesting" but she wouldn't mean it in a mean way if that makes sense, she'd just be joking on him. well, she'd be rather er... mean and possibly violent if she found out he was a death eater. and she'd be pretty angry at herself for ever being involved with him even if it was in the past.
