Meet Narcissa Malfoy. She lives up to the root of her name as a narcissistic, materialistic, and cold woman who only shows love to those she cares about. Currently she is trying to rebuild the Malfoy’s good name, much to her disapproval and disbelief after Lucius’ capture caused their social standing to crumble. Narcissa is a strong-willed, noble woman with a strong rooted love for her family and an iron-will to accomplish anything she sets out to do, regardless of whose toes she has to trample on in the process. The Slytherin alumni is not marked by Lord Voldemort but is endlessly faithful to him and his cause. Narcissa doesn’t keep many friends. Her friends would be fellow death eaters or supporters of the cause. Anyone who associates with muggleborn scum is immediately cast away, and she is not afraid to tell someone when they are beneath her. She is not wont to like you if you show distaste towards her or her family, even her coward of a husband. Just because she agrees with your opinions does not mean she has to accept them when coming from someone else’s mouth. If you are thinking about insulting her, Draco, or anyone else she considers family, you are best not showing up at her doorstep or opening your mouth at all. There will be many enemies. Anyone involved in the Order will immediately fall into this category. Other enemies include most half-bloods, blood-traitors, muggles, and the vast majority of the Wizengamot and ministry’s staff for supporting the Order’s regime. Enemies should beware as Narcissa is a powerful dark witch with extensive dueling training, and she is not afraid to use it. Narcissa is married to Lucius, so love interests will be few and far between. As she is currently in a position of discontent within her marriage I can see her flirting, but Narcissa, however unhappy, is a good wife and will not be unfaithful to her husband, regardless of his actions. The exception to this would come in the form of Severus Snape, as her feelings for him are deep rooted and long standing. No one else need apply.

Draco & Narcissa

Draco is completely devoted to his mother. As far as he is concerned, there is no witch brighter and more intelligent than she is and he honestly couldn't care if he's biased on the point. Anyone who challenges him on it will be hexed. He is of course aware that she is human and that she has faults, but that doesn't matter to him. If nothing else her faults give him a bit of courage about his own. I imagine he writes her frequently most years, but has been doing much less of it this year in order to keep her from questioning him too much or worrying too hard. Failing of course to realise that will likely upset her further XD

Severus & Narcissa

As I play Severus, he was always somewhat admiring of the elder Malfoys and at times, protective of them. Lucius was a protector in his younger years, and Narcissa was very much like a big sister in many ways. Severus trusted her then and, in many ways, still trusts her today. He would never reveal his true allegiances to her - but there are other things he would likely confess, simply because Narcissa will always be family in his eyes.

Knowing that Albus Dumbledore was dying and that he was under orders to kill him is a double-edged sword for Severus. He doesn't want to do it, but on the other hand it allows him to protect Draco and for that, he is grateful in a way he recognizes is a bit twisted. Vowing to Narcissa that he would protect Draco actually meant a great deal to Severus, because for once, he could do something for her, after feeling rather indebted to her and Lucius for the protections they offered from time to time from the Marauders.

I imagine it would take a very great deal for Severus to realize she cares for him in a way that goes beyond friendship or family, primarily because he sees her as so far above him. He would be too astonished at the idea of a woman of Narcissa's caliber considering him even remotely attractive to even think about what to do about it either. So if she ever subtly flirted with him, he'd likely completely misread it as something else or dismiss it out of hand, not because he isn't fond of her, and not because he doesn't find her attractive, but because the idea is simply too impossible XD

Lucas & Narcissa

Lucas respects Narcissa, and always has. He's always felt she would have made a fine match for a Mulciber, but never stated as much to anyone because he also felt that she would dislike the lifestyle. As with Lucius, Lucas would not harm her if they met on the battlefield. He would let her walk away, or he would fight to disarm her only. Killing her would be a waste in his eyes and besides, Severus has lost enough in this war. If anything, Lucas would likely aim to protect her, for Severus' sake.
