FRIENDS

Luna has a hard time making friends because of her eccentricity.  However, the friends that earn her trust and friendship are lifelong friends for her, for whom she will display great loyalty. 

ENEMIES

Luna's only real enemies are the death eaters. Students who are mean to her are easily brushed off and mistaken for having ulterior motives. Death eaters cause Luna to become immediately on her guard, and are not trusted.

LOVERS

Luna doesn't have any lovers, though I'd LOVE to see someone try to be her lover. Good luck ; )

Sooo I think these two would make the most utterly bizaare yet suitably fitting thread pair!

Luna's ever lucid head-in-the-clouds state must frustrate focused, grounded old McGonagall to no end, BUT, she will definitely not have missed Luna's admirable qualities. Her fierce loyalty and strong moral stance(I picture her saying "that's not very nice, you guys!" before blasting someone's butt off XD) sort of balances out her innocent, "loony" first impression:P Also, Luna tends to be very blunt and truthful, and doesn't seem to be physically capable of lying or sucking up, so Minnie will admire that, too.

She's not a Gryffie, but she IS a DA member, and a strong willed young lady, so Minnie will definitely respect that. The way she sees it, Ginny and Luna are the prime witches to become the next...Minerva and Molly in the Order, I suppose:)

SO! Thoughts on a possible post-hogsmeade encounter? Maybe Luna's on one of her spacey wanderings around the castle, searching for something odd, comes across Minnie, who reluctantly offers aid, and..idk, maybe Luna passes a trivial comment on something that registers in Minnie's head that they do have common ground, after all.

Can't wait to hear what your thoughts are!

Professor McGonagall && Luna
I would love to see a thread where Minnie finds Luna wondering the castle, maybe even past curfew? Luna could be looking for something.. yes. I do like that idea! Luna admired Professor McGonagall, but obviously they haven't ever really had an experience during which they become close so her feelings for the Professor are rather neutral. I like that idea! Would you like to start or shall I?
