Meet Daphne Greengrass. She's everything everyone thinks a slytherin should be - pureblood, bitchy, and a complete and total elitist. That's not to say she doesn't have her good sides, of course... though Merlin only knows the last time she showed them to anyone. Daphne is the elder sister to Astoria Greengrass and is the heir to the Greengrass fortune, which has made her a bit of a paranoid snob. She's after little more than wealth and infamy, and is interested in joining the Death Eaters. Daphne doesn't keep many friends, but those she does have will likely be slytherins or purebloods that support voldemort's regime. She has a respect for those who back Lord Voldemort and will often show them more compassion than she does others. She also has an interest in dragons, so anyone with knowledge of them will certainly pique her interest. She may make some unlikely acquaintances along the way through this interest. I'd certainly be willing to poke around in that field. Other than that, Daphne is likely to get along well enough with anyone she thinks can further her in her goals. Enemies will be much more prevalent than friends. Anyone that is pro-muggleborn will automatically fall into this category. Because Daphne lives by stereotypes and adheres to societal expectations of her house and bloodline, she dislikes Gryffindors - in particular those who are friends with or close to Harry Potter. She will be undeniably and unapologetically rude to any who happen to cross her path at the wrong moment... or any moment, really. Also Order members, and Ministry members will likely lose her respect. Daphne strikes me as the type that likes to be doted upon, but she's also a tease and likes to leave boys chasing her. Or girls. She's really not picky when it comes to what's between their legs. Daphne loves stringing people along and playing with emotions, and she will happily do so. I could see her getting into an open and mutually beneficial relationship with someone, but I don't see her settling down and becoming monogamous, so that could be a fun plotline. She'd also probably be down for some polyamorous affections. |
