Personality
LIKES:
- Games - There's a great deal about games that Blaise enjoys. There are games that are annoying, but for the most part they're entertaining wastes of time. The best part of any game is winning. Even playing simple games with currency, it's not that hard to cheat the bank. How else is one supposed to find wealth? Dodge taxes? Oh wait...
- Maturity - Mature persons are a group that Blaise would prefer to hang out with. He prefers the mature women, the mature guys, the people who can think for themselves, the people who can make their own associations without having anything hold them back. Immature people aren't deserving enough. Discipline is a great part of maturity to him. He respects it.
- Potions - It's one thing he had shared with his mother when he grew up, he knew his potions well, his herbs well, even his poisons. It's something he grew up with and always enjoyed the knowledge of and the usage of. Brewing a potion is quite relaxing to the guy.
- Structured Chaos - Structure holds up protocol, it holds up everything. But, structures are made to fall, like a tower of blocks. The best part of building up a structure is to watch the fall, the fall of everything. He grew up in a home with several stepfathers, some strict, some not, some friendly. He watched as his mother sowed the roots of chaos, of destruction for the houses.
- Gossip - As a guy, this isn't something mentioned a lot. But, gossip is a part of his inquisitive personality. He isn't afraid of having his fingers in several pies to learn what several people are doing. Be it fact, hearsay, witnessed, rumored, anything he's willing to listen about the gossip. Perhaps there's something he could use.
DISLIKES:
- Insubordination - Regardless of who a person is, when given an order he expects it to be followed. Even if the person is strong or weak, insubordination is not something he likes. He takes it to heart as a betrayal to himself. Insubordination is betrayal to him. That insolence is not tolerated. Insubordination even includes disloyalty.
- Confrontation - Confrontation is not Blaise's style. He prefers to work behind one's back. He doesn't like being confronted himself. Confrontation shows your weak side, doesn't let you play your strengths.
- Ordinary - Everyone has a chance to go above being simply ordinary, himself included. He doesn't like things that are ordinary. Things need to go above. Ordinary isn't something he likes. It's a middle ground. Middle ground is not acceptable.
- Losing - The opposite of a good game is losing. He doesn't like losing a game, losing a test, anyhting that results in failure. Losing is equal to failure. Failure is equal to losing. Losing isn't success. It is simply failure.
- Sharing - Why the hell should he share? It's enough he had to share his mother with six different stepfathers after his father had passed. He never had to share a day in his life, share his food, share his money. He doesn't like sharing. When he shares, it's a gift. Not sharing.
STRENGNTHS:
- Decisive - He is an incredibly supportive and decisive person. He's a strong-minded person who isn't changeable from his own opinions. He has a set goal in his mind, and any decision to further that goal he takes, even if it would result in a loss or trouble. As long as he stays, invisible.
- Nonchalant - He looks calm in the strangest of times. When there was something gruesome, a bad quidditch match... He keeps his calm. He's quite stoic, able to keep his emotions under control. He holds back his emotions, keeping them to himself and those that are the closest to him.
- Patient - Blaise is unbelievably patient. He can await over days, weeks and even months. He's willing to wait a long period of time for something to work. It's the life of a potioneer, patience brews the best. Patience is one of the truest and purest virtues to him.
WEAKNESS:
- Self-Absorbed - He loves his life, he really does, but it's for him. Anything he does is for his survival, for what he thinks is the best. Anything else, everyone else is a pawn in the greater scheme.
- Cruel - While not outright cruel himself at times, he can be undoubtedly cruel. He's attracted to cruelty. He scoffs at the pain of others. It's not his problem if he witnesses something. Afterall, he was only a witness even if it was an ordered action.
- Cynical - Truth be told, Blaise is downright cynical. He does see posities, but he expects the negatives in everything. He expects things to go horribly wrong, he has a negative outlook on life. If it's all gonna go wrong, might as well go out.
GOALS:
- Find true happiness, somewhere, away from everything when he's ready to settle down.
- Win a legacy. He wants a damn legacy, he wants to be remembered, to have his offspring exaggerate about him. His tales.

OVERALL PERSONALITY: Blaise Zabini is a walking contradiction to say the least. He believes one thing and he could act on the other. Blaise works for himself, everything in his life revolves around him. Everything he does is for his name, for his family. For him. His opinion is strong and absolute, nobody can back him down. He's a domineering person, a natural leader and he expects it. He was born into a wealth family, to a family that made themselves who they are. They made themselves who they are. He is a person that looks down on nearly everyone and everything. When he looks down on things he sees the negatives, the pure negatives as it is a part of his core cynical person.
Arrogance is a virtue to some, and it is a virtue to Blaise. It lets those whom he doesn't value know he's better than them. He believes he is better than everyone around him, by sheer skill, by sheer acts. Arrogance is natural to him, it's his natural solution for believing that he's good, awesome, and yet use his body language. He has a higher status from his posture, from his actions even if he doesn't speak them. He doesn't talk up, he talks down. Everyone is lower than him. He truly believes everyone is lower than him. He has superior status. He doesn't give a crap of what their blood is. They're lesser. He's superior.
When it comes to cruelty, his heart goes limp. He doesn't feel necessarily bad for someone suffering. It's just not his place to exert an opinion it. Yes, he's superior in every way in his opinion: It is not his place. He doesn't care what others do. It doesn't involve him, he's safe. That's all that matters. It's why he works from the behind. He works around people, slipping them potions, he works slowly and watches as things tumble. He's a fan of chaos, destruction, when structure falls. He'd stand there in the hall with a smirk across his face as there's an evacuation going on around him.
When it comes to the muggleborns, he doesn't hate them. He dislikes everyone in their own way. The muggleborns are magical in his opinion, they're every bit as magical as a half-blood. He believes any drop of magical blood spilled in vain is wasted. He thinks it's a shame during the wars blood is spilled needlessly when they could be used for something much greater, to help separate their world, to make it greater than the muggles. The muggles have their own world and it should stay that way. The magical born should be shipped off to foster homes the day they're born and their name is written by the magical quill if he had his way. He has no high opinion about the dark lord, Voldemort. He's careless either way. Even though he supports the Death Eaters, he doesn't outright view their views as perfect. It's the side he believes will win, the side his family is apart of. The side he wants his legacy to be from.
He acts as if he respects several people, but to him respect is a rarity. Trust is an overrated commodity. He doesn't confront others about his opinions, his opinions are right and they are justified by his mind. When he finds himself in a need to confront someone for anything including a betrayal, he goes much further with contempt and backstabs them without being connected to it. Though he's a sight that's always there, quiet at times, talkative at others... He prides invisibility, stealth. Working in the shadows to get his way, to manipulate factors as the dominos fall down.

OVERALL HISTORY: Lucilla Zabini was a beautiful woman, a witch greatly known for her beauty throughout the known world. She was proud of her beauty, it was her life. Her beauty created a sense of perfection for her. She was a witch that was also renowned for her innovative skills with potions. But, little do many know she specializes with poisons. These are the tales of the life and death of her seven husbands. First there was Apollo Rochfort, a strong wealthy pure-blood man, though he was older, older than her by over a hundred years. He was frail and his age caught up to him. Though wizards could love much longer than humans, he was only a hundred and forty-four years. There were younger Rochforts of course, even younger available ones, but, no, Lucilla and the world thought they had fallen for him.
He fathered a child, his youngest with such a large gap could the child be a true bastard? But, no, the child was his born into a marriage that Apollo Rochfort thought was a happy marriage. Lucilla had noticed she was pregnant, she didn't want to be pregnant. But, yet she couldn't bring herself to drink a potion she had brewed to get rid of her child, the child came to the term to a happy father who wanted to buy the world for him. He was born, Blaise Pascal Zabini, taking his mother's last name due to the legitimacy of his father. The family was not happy, so keeping him Zabini was playing it safe.
A few years went by, when his son was only a toddler. He signed vast amounts of his estate over to his wife he believed was loving and to his son. Thus the poison from Lucilla had finally took it's full course slowly over a few months. He passed away. Barely any time went around before she moved in with another man with her son, a man named Wendell Urquart. He didn't care much for the boy at all, he ignored the toddler. He just focused on his wife, that was it. He catered to her until the day he collapsed in the stairwell at the Ministry of Magic after eating a lovely lunch his wife had made for him. A short time they were together, as they had only married on the first day of 1983 and he passed away just a year later.
But, when it came to the third husband, Jonathan Archer whom she married on the first day of the new year of 1985. It had only been three months since Urquart passed, Jonathan Archer was a man who took attention to Blaise, he played with the boy. He got down on his knees to play with the toys. He took the boy to quidditch games, he was a father to the boy, one that loved the boy. He became suspicious of Lucilla at first when he realized his anniversary matched along the previous two. He questioned her about it and thus Blaise stopped sharing his food. When Blaise reached over to his toast, to his drinks Lucilla would quickly swat his hand telling him to go ask the elves. This seemingly happy marriage turned sour quickly and Jonathan Archer died within eight months of the marriage.
Leland Black was a man born in the early fifties, married on the first day of January in the year of 1987. He was quick to turn over things to his wife. He signed the paperwork within weeks. A month after their marriage he went away on a trip to France and was found face down in a river. Nobody was sure what happened, but Lucilla's wherabouts were claimed to be at home. After his death Lucilla decided it was time to focus on her estate, she moved back to the Rockfort home in Hogsmeade, had it remodeled for her and her son. She spent a few years with her son, teaching him, spending time with him. She had him help pick herbs, she taught him timing. She was strict, but fair to Blaise. She would read to him to sleep, she would sit through his nights when he was sick. She didn't trust the local apothecaries and thus would brew her potions herself nursing him back to health without the help of any healer from St. Mungo's or the apothecary. She did it herself and she was proud of it. At the end of a good day's work when her son achieved a milestone she would loudly proclaim, "Look how good of a mother I am. See. I could do it."
Around Christmas, 1992 Lucilla brought a man around to her son. He was twelve, already off at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was doing quite well in Potions and Herbology above all else, it seemed second-hand to him as that was what he grew up with. Saul Tigh Slughorn was a wonderful man. He loved potions, he worked with Blaise over the winter and with Lucilla helping her with her potions. It was a wondrous time of family unity to them. The two married quickly, on the first day of 1993. During the summer he took Blaise with him to France as they went to study under some famous potioneers. When he came back, he fell sick. Blaise was distraught over him being sick as he had become attached. He passed away, leaving his gold to his mother.
Blaise had gone through a mound of stepfathers, the sixth, Arthur Yaxley came about in mid-1994 right before his fourth year begun. The marriage was again on the first day of 1995. He passed Christmas day of 1996 when Blaise opted to stay at school instead of returning home as the estate was under construction and he didn't like Arthur's house. Their home was being remodeled as it got torn apart in 1996, during October from an attack. He was in his sixth year during the attack. Though, he had passed away, only a few days later his mother already remarried... It was her shortest time of being a widow, she married a man named Apollo Augistine, a man that not even Blaise liked. He was in his sixth year, he had figured out the mysterious circumstances that his stepfathers have all passed away under. But, Blaise does not like Apollo, not one bit.
He wants his mom. He wants her attention. But, she's too focused locked away brewing a special potion for her dear husband and won't let Blaise help anymore. Blaise knows something amok is going on. But, now he has his own plans for attention. If his mother won't pay attention to him, he'd use his potioneer skills to screw with the kids at school. How much fun could that be?
