Lavender is silly and sentimental. She tends to react to everything in an extreme way every day in situations either by laughing hysterically or crying hysterically. She is very emotional but is also very brave. She's the type of girl who enjoys the center of attention and loves to talk to anyone that accepts her. She doesnt tolerate arrogance or anyone that opposes her and really dislikes liars. She is also lively and is in contrast. She doesnt like Hermione because of her pragmatic studiousness. Lavender is also bubbly when shes around those who tend to enjoy her presence and give her the center of attention, like her friend Parvarti. When she is turned down or rejected, it really gets at her and makes her slightly bitter for a few days after.

Lavender was born in 1980 to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brown in London, England. She grew up as a normal day-to-day girl next door in the muggle world as her parents kept magic a secret until the day she would receive her Hogwarts acceptance letter on her eleventh birthday. Lavender loved what all girls had, to play with barbies, dolls, play dress up and all those things. Her mother would always put her hair into braids and take her out for ice cream as her father would always play with her when he came back from work.
When Lavender hit the age of eleven, that very night she went to bed after having the best birthday party she wanted - she was pretty spoiled being the only child. She woke up the next morning to her parents making her a special breakfast and she was very curious as to why she was getting chocolate chip pancakes which were her favorite. Her parents showed her the acceptance letter to Hogwarts and she was extremely excited and her parents discussed magic to her.
Although she was excited, that night she became nervous because her parents discussed their past of being at the school and about the sorting and what not. She was hoping she would get either of the houses her parents were sorted into which were Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. When school time came around, her parents helped with school shopping in diagon alley and brought her to the train to Hogwarts.
Once Lavender arrived at Hogwarts and was in the Great Hall for the sorting ceremony, she was very nervous. Her name was called first and she took a seat at the sorting hat. Once the sorting hat sorted her into Gryffindor, she was thrilled and took her seat at the Gryffindor table. Throught out her first five years at the school, shes hated Herbology the most of all of her classes. During her first year at the school, she befriended Parvarti Patil whom she shared the dorm with in the Gryffindor common room. During her second year, she had kept to herself and her best friend Parvarti. When the Chamber of Secrets was being talked about, it frightened Lavender slightly. She like everyone else at the school thought badly of Harry for being a parseltongue but she eventually rubbed that off and started supporting Harry. During her third year, she had gotten close to her Divination professor, Trelawney during her third year when she predicted her baby rabbit were to die on October 16th and Lavender dreaded that day. When the day came, it happened. During her fourth year when the Triwizard Tournament occurred, she liked the thought of having the glory but she wouldnt have the guts to play in it. She watched as Harry and the other competitors played each round, rooting for Harry like all the others. he had went to the Yule Ball with Seamus Finnigan as just friends that year. She was extremely upset about the death of Cedric Diggory hence she crushed on him like the other girls had. In her fifth year, she didnt believe Harry that Lord Voldemort was back like several other students didnt but after a month into it she began believing Harry. Lavender didnt like Umbridge what-so-ever unlike most students didnt besides the Slytherins. When Umbridge had sacked Professor Trelawny, Lavender was extremely upset. She was very close to that Professor since her third year and was the only Professor in the school that she actually liked. Trelawny understood her the most and was the Professor she could talk to. She joined Harry in Dumbledores Army and was excited to learn the Dark Arts from Harry himself. She was a proud member for the DA. Lavender quite enjoyed the pranks the Weasley twins put off on Umbridge and was glad that she was gone from the school once removed. And now shes off to start her sixth year at Hogwarts.
