Personality
LIKES:
+Sweets-Ever since he was a small child, Fenrir simply couldn’t help himself to a cauldron cake or chocolate frog. During his school year’s Fenny’s trunk was overflowing with wrappers that spilled out onto the floor and gushed from the drawers of his desk.
+Blood-Red is his favorite color; Fenrir takes pleasure in the warm, salty liquid and revels in its taste. It signifies life, something he loves to take away and play with. The loss of it is a good measure of persuasion.
+Forests-Forests are a great place for Fenrir to stretch his legs without having to worry about aurors or others who seek to hunt out his kind. They are also a fantastic area for finding unsuspecting prey. The musty scent of the forest floor is perhaps a scent Fenrir finds himself unable to do without.
+Running-Despite his age, Fenrir is a very agile man and is quite fast in both his werewolf and human form. In addition to this he is very strong. Often he can be described as a “grey blur” and is found running during his spare time, whether for sport or out of hunger.
DISLIKES:
+Animals-Other creatures have a habit of coming up to him out of curiosity in his human form. Sometimes they can sense his danger and will try to attack, most though will run away and leave him in his solitude. None dare approach him while in his werewolf form. Fenrir thinks they all stink.
+Flying-Fenrir has always preferred the ground beneath his feet than the air through his hair. Though in all honesty he has horrible balance on a broom and is easily disoriented up in the air.
+Quidditch-A visual smack in the face of what he is incapable of doing, Fenrir hates quidditch as it stands for his great weakness as a wizard. He claims it to be boring and too clean.
+Loud noises-Because of his lycanthropy, Fenrir has sensitive ears apt at hearing. Loud noises can easily startle or distract him, the outcome of which is a raging Fenrir.
+Wizards-Wizards made him the ‘beast’ he now is and wizards are the ones who spurn him and his kind. Fenrir yearns to gather an army and in violent revenge display just how powerful and capable werewolves truly are .
+Unicorns-They are one creature capable of defense against werewolves, he also finds them to be highly unsettling in general. Unicorns are also of poor taste-too chewy.[/ul][/quote]
STRENGTHS:
+Dueling/wandless/verbal magic-It took the combined efforts of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Neville Longbottom to bring down Fenrir during the Battle of Hogwarts; Fenrir once knocked a wizard over with a mere wave of his hand (see wiki). [/ul]
WEAKNESS:
+Flying- Though he has always claimed to hate it, most of his loathing stems from the fact he is quite terrible at flying. His pride prevents him from publically stating this. In fact he is quite possibly the worst wizard who ever attempted to fly on a broomstick.
+Large size- His large build makes it nearly impossible for Fenrir to creep with stealth or hide from any opposing foe or prey. [/ul]

OVERALL PERSONALITY: Fenrir is a cruel and vicious beast who has forsaken his humanity in his attempt to overthrow the wizarding community. He cares little for the lives of others, often deriving pleasure in extinguishing their happiness and ceasing their heartbeats. Often he centers his attacks on children, placing himself near his victims before his change during the full moon. It is rare for him to spare anyone from his anger and he can hold a grudge for an absurd amount of time; perhaps even taking it to the grave. He’ll do anything to achieve his means in life. Bitter and full of hatred, Fenrir takes out his frustration on all of wizarding kind. It’s one of his many emotional vulnerabilities. Fenrir has his mind set on who he is and what he must do; he will not be easily swayed by any one person. He greatly fears fire, The Dark Lord, and death.
Despite his violent nature Fenrir also feels a paternal sense of attachment to his pack, as he turned most of the members within. Though just as unpleasant with them as he is with anyone else, he holds a shred of patience for those he deems his own and his loyalty stands unwavering. You hurt one of his and he’ll retaliate through ripping out your throat. Fenrir has much pride and is easily offended-which he does not tolerate.

OVERALL HISTORY:
In 1923 Rederich Greyback and his wife Amaline welcomed their only surviving child Fenrir. The couple had suffered the loss of a 16 year old son four years previous to a tragic accident-Ellard had fallen down three flights of stairs and snapped his neck. It had come as somewhat of a shock when 40 year old Amaline announced to the family she was expecting another child-her health a major point of concern considering her older age. Fortunately though, everything turned out for the best. Fenrir was a large baby, weighing in at 9 pounds and 2 ounces, mirroring his future growth. He was not fussy and hardly cried, often gazing at the ceiling with large eyes transfixed.
Born in a Catholic household, when Fenrir began his education he was sent to a religious private school. He played roughly with the other boys, but because of such had problems making friends. He could always kick the ball the farthest or run the fastest in a game of tag. On the flip side, his academics struggled. The nuns who instructed the courses made a quick habit of smacking the back of his knuckles with a wooden ruler-most believed Fenrir lazy but in truth he vainly attempted to increase his studies. He was not stupid, but had difficulty grasping what was being taught and needed a slower pace. Rederich was a stern father and though he loved his son, Fenrir always felt it was near impossible to impress the man. Often constructive criticism came from Rederich's mouth, aimed to guide his son but Fenrir took it as a cold warning of displeasure. His father rarely smiled which only further confused Fenrir. On the other hand Amaline was also a very quiet woman, who completed tasks in silence though always had a small smile for her family.
Fenrir did not start showing signs of magic until the age of 9. His mother's tea cups would float in a line or the wind would pick up in a sudden emotional outburst-once a swarm of bees encircled an older schoolmate who had stolen Fenrir's football. He received his letter to Hogwarts at 11 though his father, a man uneasy at the thought of witchcraft, eventually gave approval once explained Fenrir needed to learn how to control his abilities. Amaline rarely used magic around the house as it discomforted Rederich who found it lazy and unnatural. Unlike his mother who had been a Hufflepuff student, Fenrir was sorted into Gryffindor. He was a brave boy, daring, and bold. He never followed the rules or fretted over the consequences. He vastly enjoyed Hogwarts over his muggle school and found the subjects vaguely easier to understand-though he only managed to scrape by with average marks. Well-behaved under his father's eye, Fenrir held a lot of nerve and was always testing his boundaries at school.
Some students found him slightly egotistical while others deemed him hot-headed, but Fenrir held a handful of friends. Though his quick-to-anger demeanor frightened some away-as he took it out with his fists. He had a muscular frame and broad shoulders; sized large even as a youth. He nearly broke his collar bone back in his first year after having fallen from his broom. Passing flying by a hair's breadth, Fenrir could never actually balance on a broomstick for longer than five seconds without tumbling to the side. Though because of his large build he was asked in his fifth and sixth year to try out as beater for the quidditch team.
In the year 1940 Fenrir turned 17 and was eligible to join the military-WWII had broken out the year previous and his father had fiercely supported the Nazi beliefs. In desperation to please his father-and earn himself a spot of glory-Fenrir dropped out of his schooling at Hogwarts and enlisted. Rederich had smiled at Fenrir, giving him a clap on the shoulder, telling him he was proud of his son for fighting for the cause. But war was not as glorious as the propaganda portrayed it to be. Long hours were spent marching and he and his comrades were quite often screamed at by a higher ranking officer. Once, when caught in a fire during an attack, a fiery beam fell nearly crushing Fenrir. It grazed his abdomen setting his uniform ablaze as he rolled in agony, attempting to put out the flames. It was magic that prevented the wooden beam from fully landing on him.
One of the memories that stands out the most from his days in the war was passing through a concentration camp-they had been stationed to help with the mounting increase of population. Hundreds of children with stark-white faces peered back; their cheek bones swallow and pointed with starvation. And there he stood-armed, fed, and alive. It gave him a sort of sick high-he held sway here.
In 1942 Fenrir was appointed as a SS Nazi officer. This promotion came with an additional bonus-he had been selected for an experimental program that, if successful, would launch the Nazi party into victory. Without much surprise, both muggles and wizards particpated in the war as the outcome would effect both worlds. A group of wizardng Nazi's concluded that lycanthropy could be altered and create a super-soldier capable of mass destruction. Knowing of his magical abilities Fenrir was a first choice-he was young and already naturally strong. Fenrir was excited for the idea knowing how much pride it would bring his father and how much fame it could draw-perhaps he could win the war single-handedly. But the experiment did not go according to plan as lycanthropy cannot be changed and the damage is permanent. Once this was realized Fenrir was dishonorably dismissed from the military. Shamed in the wizarding world as a werewolf and shamed in his father's eyes for having been dishonorably dismissed, Fenrir was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
He eventually began gathering other werewolves in revenge. Despite the consequences he was stronger than ever before-he bit children so they could be raised to hate both muggles and wizards alike. He had those of many ages before simply for being Jewish-he didn't need a reason to do so again did he? As he mental state began to shift as did his physical. Once white teeth became stained and sharp. Aurors began looking for a wolf rebellion. They were suspicious enough to bring Fenrir in for questioning. He insisted on cluelessness, claiming to be a muggle and all but Lyall Lupin believed his story. He insisted Greyback be held to the next full moon (24 hours away) and stated he showed signs of lycanthropy. When the others jeered at his claims Lyall exclaimed in frustration that werewolves were "soulless, evil, deserving nothing but death." This consequentially had Lyall booted from the room. With the help of two others while being escorted Greyback escaped, but could not let his grudge against Lyall Lupin's words go. Fenrir crept to the windowsill of Lyall's young son and when the moon rose bit the child.
The Dark Lord made him a deal Fenrir could not refuse-bodies for brute force. He offered his services as a werewolf in exchange for prisoners (one of which he took as a mate). When the Dark Lord fell it was not terribly devastating to Greyback-he had not been branded or deemed important and therefore continued on with his own personal goals. Aurors were out after him more than ever and for some time he was forced to lay low, until now as the Dark Lord rises once more.
