PATRONUS:
If your character is an OC, are they old enough to practice this spell? It is considered sixth year magic, so keep that in mind. Once you've decided whether or not it is appropriate for your character to have a patronus, tell us the memory your character uses to summon it and form that it takes.
Keep in mind that patronus forms reflect personalities and emotions. There is not a single record of a patronus form that is of a magical creature, so don't use one of those. Think of an animal that is unique, but not outlandish or unreasonable for your character to have a personal connection to.[/ul]

IMPORTANT RELATIVES:
This goes for anything from blood relation to work affiliation. OC's can build relationships to canons after their acceptance; it should not be a part of their history or their family.[/ul]
IMPORTANT PERSON:
OVERALL HISTORY: Please provide at least four paragraphs of history for your character. There are all manner of things that can be covered; from first signs of magic, to how the family gets along.
For halfbloods, what are the political beliefs of the family? Do they approve or disapprove of blood purity idealism? What's your characters take on it and why? What influences did they have toward favored housing? What mini adventures did they partake in before school?
For Muggleborns, how did your family react to your Hogwarts letter? How did your character feel when they discovered they were different from the rest of their family?
If they've been in school for some time, what are their favorite subjects and teachers? Why is that so?
These are just a few of hundreds of examples of questions that could be asked in order to better fill out and frame a robust character history. If you get stuck or you find you don't know what to cover, PM a member of the admin team, and we'll happily coach you through it![/quote]
