During the 1994 Tri-Wizard Tournament, Mcname was stationed as a bodyguard to the Minister. When 'Mad Eye' was revealed to be Barty Crouch, he along with his partner Namester aided in Barty's escape. Since, Mcname and Namester have been the only people (aside from the Dark Lord of course) to know that he who assisted the Dark Lord in orchestrating his return still lives. Mcname attended Slytherin with Crouch - the nature of their relationship as dorm mates and later, comrades, will be up to the player - I would not be opposed to Mcname being one of the rare gems Barty pseudo cares about in his weird way.
