Vincent clenched his jaw and rested his hands on the bar in front of him. It was getting later in the evening, which meant that more adults were coming in. Normally, the adults that came in at this point in the night came to the pub for one reason and one reason only: to get drunk. This was a pain to Vincent more than anything else because guess who had to clean up after the drunken people. He did. Guess who had to throw the problem causing drunks out of the pub when they were causing trouble. He did.
"Sir, I'm going to need you to calm down and just pay your bill," said Vincent, sighing as he stared at the drunk wizard sitting across from him at the bar.
"You pay it!" said the drunk, attempting to poke Vincent on the nose, but he slipped and smacked his head on the bar in front of him. "'ey, who hit me?" he said, raising his head up and looking around.
"Sir, just pay the bill," said Vincent becoming less and less patient with the man.
In response, the wizard began singing very loudly. Vincent had run out of patience, so he moved around the bar and took the man by the arm. He had to do this at least once a day, so he was used to things such as this. Usually, he had to deal with the angry drunks, not just the people that wouldn't pay their bills, so this was fairly easy compared to those people.
Vincent wasn't completely heartless when it came to the drunks, though. Since the man wasn't exactly causing that much trouble, he locked him in one of the back rooms (as he seemed pretty close to passing out anyway) after heforced him to drink a potiongave the man a potion to make him sleep for awhile.
Making sure that the door really was locked, he returned to his post behind the bar, hoping that was the worst patron he would have to deal with that evening.
