Marie is one of the friendlier people to meet and wants to make as many friends as possible so quite a few people will fall into this category. It is certainly worth having her on your side if you are angry or upset as she has a great listening ear when it comes to personal problems and will always have some words of comfort waiting. The girl is incredibly loyal to her group of friends and anyone who messes with them is likely to end up on the wrong side of one of her hexes. Though when she gets in a really bad mood, even her friends should steer clear.

Just like anyone in this world, Marie has enemies that want to annoy her and upset her. This list is thankfully short, however, due to her personalities. Some of her few enemies are prejudiced towards her because she is half-blood and not pure but she pushes any remarks from them aside with good spirit. Some may have seen one of the rare occasions her temper flared up and made their own judgement about her. Whatever their reasons, the girl will act cold towards her enemies and greet them with a piercing stare instead of her usual bright smile.

Marie hasn't really thought much about love yet. Some parts of her are a little nervous about the idea after what happened to her mother but romance is always a possibility if she finds a guy that she can really connect with. They would have to love her for who she is understand her values. Of course, he would have to
have a good sense of humor too.

First off let me just say that Marie is absolutely adorable. It's super exciting to see a younger student on the site, too! Now then - on to the plotting.

Lucas & Marie

Lucas Mulciber is Hogwarts' latest addition to Headmaster Dumbledore's list of questionable hiring. After rescuing Hermione Granger and Harry Potter from Death Eaters in the First Hogsmeade Battle, he was granted a position in the school while his lawyers attended the legal battle about him being a Death Eater escapee. Yes - he was among those imprisoned for 14 years!

That said, he has proven to be an decent professor of Transfiguration for the fourth through seventh year students and after the Second Attack on Hogsmeade has been cleared of his crimes - turns out he didn't have a trial the first time! Of course some of it is questionable, but from the student - teacher standpoint, Lucas does a good job.

Despite being a Slytherin alumni, Lucas is fair and he doesn't present any house bias. She's a third year, so his dealings with her would be limited, but she is a professor she would be able to count on if she had any situation regarding bullying or mistreatment. He would also assist her with Transfiguration questions despite the fact she isn't in his year groupings.

Severus & Marie

Severus would be much more familiar to Marie than Lucas, who joined the staff team just this year. He'd be familiar with her potions work and would now be treating her defense work just as critically, though not cruelly. He's strict and demands exceptional performances and tends to not be kind when he doesn't get them. That said, if she did dare to brave the snarky professor's possible ire because she had a problem - be it with another student, or the current affairs, or her classwork - he would likely surprise her with his civility and helpfulness.

Draco & Marie

Draco's got house racism issues, and he's a bit of a jerk to anyone who isn't a pureblood. Interestingly enough, he's trying to work on that last one a little bit, but the first one not so much. He still has a hard time remembering Hufflepuffs exist.

That said, he is a Prefect and he is a Slytherin Prefect, which means certain things are demanded of him by his Head of House and he's hardly about to upset Severus when he has so much else going on. So if she needed help from an older student, he would grant it depending on the situation and whether or not she caught him on a good cabinet day. That dratted Vanishing Cabinet is the bane of his existence right now.

Lucas & Marie

I could see the two of them bumping in to one another on occasion around the castle. Maybe he could comfort her if he sees her on a rough day or she is in one of those moods.

Severus & Marie

I could see the two of them having quite interesting interactions. Marie isn't top of her class perfect at potions (But not bottom either, around average). She wouldn't like him trying to keep expecting her to get exceptional results when she believes you can't do better than your best. I think she would try and put a good face on, however and try to greet him with a little bit of a smile. I think she would be a little scared to ask him for advice though, his reputation does precede him afterall.

Draco & Marie

Draco would probably be one of those people that totally rubs her the wrong way. She reserves a rare icey glare for those who have bias when it comes to blood status. Marie just doesn't see the reasoning of it, they all have magic after all. I see the two being quite frosty at first if they meet but maybe if they meet up often enough she might be able to see a different side to the boy. The girl might even show him some sympathy. A thread would definitely be fun, just tell me where and who should start.

Severus would treat her the same as he does any other student (who isn't a Slytherin or a Gryffindor) He would be brisk, almost harsh, but generally fair. His commentary on her homework would be borderline rude, but if she looks past that she'll see he's actually providing guidance. If you had read Magical Herbs and Fungi you would have known full well that Valerian is used to treat sleep disorders or something along those lines - basically directing her to books or passages that would have helped and could be useful in future assignments type of thing xD

Marie & Hagrid
Nice to see a young character once in a while. (I hate age limit, lol)

Would little Marie want to have a conversation, and maybe make friend with Hagrid? He may look wild and scary but he's friendly and enjoy company of young children (kinda like a typical old grandpa in my opinion.) Does she take CoMC in her third year? It can be an idea for a thread.
